So, I stopped using BP on for my acne because I read that it is linked to cancer and premature wrinkles...so I switched to using pure aloe vera gel for my acne and it is really helping (I have only been using it a week so I will update later). I can say that my skin does look a lot better: it is lighter in color because it is no longer dry and burned; it is soft not flaky; it is combination skin instead of extremely oily (yes, harsh products really do make you overproduce oil; BEST OF ALL: I haven't gotten those huge cysts that last weeks and leave dark marks for months....WOW, I am starting to think that I should have just let my skin be years ago because all the harsh products I have been using probably have caused most of my acne, especially the really severe kind (harsh products lead to dry skin and flakes, and more oil production to compensate for the dry skin, which combine to give you more acne.
Anywho, ever since I found out about the risks of BP, I started researching stuff on this site called skin deep that you can link to from the campaign for safe cosmetics site.

http://www.clarisonic.com/customer/recall
I didn't see that anyone posted this yet, but Clarisonic is voluntarily recalling certain models of the skincare brush that may overheat or catch on fire. I've had mine for over a year, and it IS part of the recall. I know five others who's have been recalled as well, so check your lot code on the bottom so you don't burn your sugarlicious face!
