Another Great Product I Found! :)

Dark spots no more! I found this Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Fading Peel. When your breakouts have faded away, you can sometimes be left with dark spots. How annoying is that? This product is an acne mark fading peel, and it works really well from what I've heard. This product helps new skin cells form more quickly and even out your skin tone.
What Really Causes Breakouts?

Is it poor hygiene? WRONG -Oil and bacteria, not outside dirt, cause acne; even if you wash each day you can still get zits. The key is the right regimen.
Is it wearing makeup? WRONG -Makeup itself doesn't cause zits, but some products can clog pores or trigger allergic reactions. Pick oil-free formulas; wash it all of before bed.
Is it because of lot's of stress? TRUE -Stress causes hormone levels to change, which makes oil glands go into overdrive. Too much oil, and pores get clogged.
Is it because of excess washing? TRUE -Washing hard doesn't make skin extra clean- it just strips away moisture. That makes skin irritated and more likely to break out.
Did you know that 67% of people say it is extremely important to them to have clear skin?

Routines for for your acne severity:
If your acne is...
Light (a mix of whiteheads, a few red bumps, and blackheads)
A.M. & P.M. : Use a cleanser. Use a warming salicylic acid cleanser specifically. The warmth will open up your pores so the salicylic acid can reach the deep-down dirt
Try: Biore Warming Anti-Blackhead Cleanser
Once a week: Use a mask. A mask you use in the shower is an easy way to give yourself a mini facial. It works with the steam to clear out clogged pores.
Try: Clean&Clear Soft In-Shower Facial
Moderate (lots of red pimples that have come to a head)
A.M. & P.M. : Use a face wash. Look for a product with glycolic acid, a fruit extract that exfoliates and kills the bacteria that forms overnight.
Try: Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Power Cream Wash
Once a week: Use a scrub. Wash with an exfoliating scrub to loosen flaky skin, dirt, and oil, and whisk them away when you rinse.
Try: Avon Clearskin Professional Deep Pore Cleansing Scrub
Severe (clusters of big red bumps that are swollen and painful)
A.M. & P.M. : Use a medicated wash. You need a cleanser with the maximum amount of beta hydroxy acid (2%) to target your specific type of bacteria.
Try: Peter Thomas Roth Beta Hydroxy Acid 2% Acne Wash
Once a week: Use an overnight treatment. On days when zits get really bad, try a strong spot treatment with a powder formula- it won't rub off while you sleep.
Try: Cosmedicine Speedy Recovery Nighttime Blemish Powder

Request Jem (cartoon make-up) for Emalove

Well, as you can see I've changed my profile picture to this look. I loved it so much, I hope you don't mind Emalove! Emalove asked me about this look and I did this for her.

The look is from a 1980's cartoom called Jem:

And my final eye:

But first a question to all of you.
I have usually 1 or maybe 2 "big" watermarks in the pictures I post. In my Profile picture I did a lot of little ones, which do you prefer?

Products in this picture
- Smashbox, Photo Finish - Clear Foundation Primer
- Too Faced, Wagic Wand - Illuminating Foundation New York Light
- Sephora, Concealing Blemish Pen
- Urban Decay, Eye Shadow Primer Potion

Preparation & Face
I used Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2 in 1 mask as a facewash today with some StriVectin-SD eyecream and Clinique Repairwear moisturizer.
I then used Photo Finish as a primer with The Too Faced foundation over that. I wanted to not look bronzed for this look and kept it very simple today. I used some Sephora Concealing Blemish Pen on any dark spots and under my eyes. As an eyeshadow primer I used Primer Potion which will keep the colour amazingly well. I actually used two Sephora Brand FACE 25 Makeup Removing Wipes for Face, Eyes & Lips to take it off and still there was pink around my eyes, I finally took up my trusting Dior makeup remover to take everything off. (I can't walk around with Jem eyes all day can I? )

Products in this picture:
- Barry M, Dazzle Dust - 84 Cherry Red
- Smashbox, Definer Brush - no. 15
- Smashbox, JetSet - Midnight Black
- Smashbox, Smudge Brush - no. 20
- Rimmel London, Colour Rush Mono eyeshadow - Jet Black (214)
- The Body Shop, Slanted Brush
- Sephora, Eyelashcurler
- Dior, Diorshow - 090 Black

Eyes
First I placed some scotch tape under my eye to place the first bit of pink with the definer brush under my eye. I did this first because I wanted the tape to be there the shortest amount of time.

At this point I took the tape under my eye loose a little and kept the rest in place. I then took some new tape and mede the bottom point.

I placed some tape against my eyebrow, to elongate the brow with the pink later on, I didn't place it on the brow hairs because then the tape won't stick to the skin and it's prettier to not have a harsh line here.

I placed some tape at the inner corner to the corner of the brow and made the edge of pink here. With the definer brush I placed the pink under my brow and took off the tape to see how it looked.

At this point I check if all the foundation that was under the tape is looking good or if I need to fix anything. I filled all the pink in with the definer brush. Make sure that there is no patchyness here, the colour should really be covering everything. I also took up the Angled brush with the black eyeshadow to darken my eyebrows and make them look more fake.

The funny thing I noticed at this point was if I held my mouth a certain way the point looked different, if I smiled it looked shorter etc, so keep this in mind when placing the point. I used JetSet on my waterline because it keeps all day and all night.

I curled my lashes and added mascara to the top and bottom lashes. If you want to you can even put a second coat of mascara on there. I didn't comb my lashes after the mascara.

Final eye looking down:

Final eye:

Eye when I smile a little looking much softer:

Breast Cancer Awareness eye look

Hi everyone,

It's still Breast Cancer Awareness month and I wanted to do a look for this. We have a friend of the family who had breast cancer 15 years ago and she's thankfully still alive. I believe all the women supporting friends and/or fighting (breast)cancer should get all the support in the world.

Final eye:

I was in somewhat of a hurry the morning I had this look (I did take off the breast cancer sign before leaving the house), so this is an eye that doesn't take a lot of time and is very shimmery.

Products in this picture
- Neutrogena, PureGlow - Cleansing Cushions
- Benefit, Firmology
- Neutrogena, PureGlow - Eyecream

Preparation
I started by cleaning my face with the cleansing cushions and taking it off with very cold (brrrr) water. I then moisturized with a PureGlow Eyecream and Firmology.

Products in this picture:
- Smashbox, Hybrid 2 in 1 - Luminizing Primer
- YSL, Teint Parfait - no. 3 Champagne
- Sephora, Concealer Palette
- Urban Decay, Eye Shadow Primer Potion
- Bourjois, Kohl Pencil - Cafe & Creme
- Bourjois, Kohl Pencil - Noir & Blanc
- GOSH, Effect Powder - Meringue
- Barry M, Dazzle Dust - dd84 Cherry red
- Smashbox, Wicked Lovely line - Eye Shadow Duo Sexy/Demure
- Max Factor, Masterpiece Mascara (with the pink duotone)
- Urban Decay, Face Case - Side Show (Grifter)
- Mark Cosmetics, Lipgloss - Blow Kisses
- Sephora, Eyelashcurler
- Sephora Brand Professionnel, All Over Shadow Brush - Large no. 21
- Smashbox, Definer Brush - no. 15
- Unknown Brand, Mascara wand
- Da Vinci, Eyeliner brush

Face
When preparing for makeup, I've always used a primer under my foundation ever since I found a great primer in Photo Finish (Smashbox). The look I posted before this I didn't use a foundation primer and my skin started to shine halfway through the day, so I'm all for primer again with this look. The primer I used here was the Hybrid 2 in 1, which gives a soft glow to the skin, followed by YSL Teint Parfait in no. 3 which also has a shimmer to it. This is not a foundation, but my skin wasn't in need of foundation so I skipped it. Using only some of the Concealer Palette to hide a little discolouration under my eyes.

Eyes
On my eyes I used Primer Potion as a base and over this is used (all over my eyelid) the creme colour from the Bourjois Cafe & Creme Kohl. Over this I used some of the white from the Noir & Blanc kohl under the arc of my brow and on the inner corner of my eyes. See here the unblended white:

Blend this well using your fingers!

As a shimmer all over and under my eyes I used Meringue with the All over shadow brush. This creates a shimmer all over and around the eye, very ice-lady
Over the places where I put the white before I used the light pink from the Smashbox Eye Shadow Duo in Sexy/Demure. This is slightly lighter, adding some depth and lightness to the eye. Taking the no. 15 Definger brush I brushed some Grifter (a light shimmery purple) in my crease. I really faded it out but made sure there was a thick layer of Grifter, because the next step was adding a little Dazzle Dust in Cherry Red to the centre of the crease. If you blend this really well the hard pink edge fades and the purple underneath becomes more pink.
I also took the thin liner brush and the same dazzle dust to draw the Breast Cancer ribbon on my cheek?

At this point I curled my lashes and added 2 coats of the Masterpiece Mascara pink side. I also brushed my brows into place.

Lips
On my lips I used Mark lip gloss in Blow Kisses

Request for gray green eyes with speckles of hazel

Harrisons asked me to do an eye for her. She gave me a list of Urban Decay colours she has and this is the eye I cooked up:

But as usual before you can make a beautiful eye/face, you need a properly prepared eye/face.

Products in this picture:
- Neutrogena, PureGlow - Cleansing Cushions
- Sephora, Face Toner
- Dior, Hydra Action - Eye Cream
- No. 7, Restore & Renew - Serum
- Clinique, Continuous Rescue Antioxidant Moisturizer
- Talika, Lipocils - Eyelash Gel

Preparation
I start with a scrub with my Cleansing Cushions. I then take the foam off with a little water (waking up the eyes in the process). To close my pores I use a gentle Face Toner.
To moisten and protect my skin I used a Hydra Action eye cream which has SPF in it on my eyes and I started with a Serum on my face before I applied Continuous Rescue Antioxidant Moisturizer. I also bought a tube of Talika, Lipocils Eyelash Gel yesterday, because I want to see if my eyelashes actually look better if I use it. I hope I don't forget to use it twice a day the first month, but you guys will see if there is a difference during the next month.

Products in this picture:
- Sephora, Concealer palette
- The Body Shop, Concealer Brush
- Benefit, Justine Case kit (using Some Kind-a Gorgeous)
- Urban Decay, Eye Shadow Primer Potion

Face
To create a "flawless" base I used Some Kind-a Gorgeous, this is pretty sheer and feels very light for a cream foundation. Next up was a little mixture of the lightest and the pink colour from the Concealer palette under my eyes with the Concealer Brush. To be honest after placing the concealer I really found out I'd gotten used to the Smashbox concealer which is less cakey and more natural, this hides more, but also creases very easily. To finish this section I gave my eyes a proper base with Primer Potion.

Products in this picture:
- Urban Decay, Shadow Box Ammo
- Urban Decay, Urban Survival Kit
- Urban Decay, Face Case - Side Show
- Urban Decay, Skull Shadow Box
- Urban Decay, Matte Eyeshadow - Naked
- Talika, Eyebrow Extender Black
- Sephora Brand Professionnel, Rounded Crease Brush - no. 13
- Sephora Brand Professionnel, (no longer sold, the next best thing is their Small Synthetic Eyeshadow Brush no. 26)
- Sephora Brand Professionnel, All Over Shadow Brush - Large no. 21
- Unknown Brand, Mascara wand used for eyebrows
- Sephora Brand Professionnel Platinum, Natural Dome Smudge Brush - no. 13
- Max Factor, Masterpiece mascara
- Sephora, Eyelashcurler

Eyes

I started off by creating a matte even base using the Naked eyeshadow and the no. 21 All over shadow brush.

I placed Maui Wowie (from the Ammo box) on my inner corner working to halfway across my eye with a Large Shadow Brush no. 8. This brush gives you perfect placement with minimum fallout.

The next colour I took up was Last Call from the Ammo box.

Using the same no. 8 brush only now cleaned and damp to get a deeper colour. I placed this on the other half of my eyelid and I didn't blend. I let it dry before taking the next colour.

I used Midnight Cowboy rides again from the Urban Survival Kit.

And using the dome brush I placed it in the inner corner of my eye, giving it a highlight creating more open eyes and the gold in this will work well with the hazel flecks in Harrisons eye. If you place the brush on your closed corner, you will get perfect placement without brushing the colour and thereby minimizing fallout.

By now the Last Call is certainly dry and I took up the Crease brush with Last call on the tip of the brush only to blend the Last Call into Maui Wowie. I also used this brush and colour to darken the crease.

For deepening the colour at the outer corner I used Crash from the Side Show Face Case.

These face cases are no longer sold, but you can get most of the colours loose from the Urban Decay website (and Sephora too).
I used the dome brush (cleaned on a towel) for placement on my outer quarter of my upper eyelid and on my lower lash line fading the colour out after going in 1/3.

The next colour I used was Vert from the Skull Shadow Box.

This is a very pigmented matte green perfect for the rest of the under eyelash line (starting a little inward, blending it only at the edge with the Midnight Cowboy Rides again and with the Crash.
This is not like mixing Fishnet with Graffiti, no blue will appear magically, the colours will just blend into each other creating a nice gradient at the middle of your lower lash line.

At this point I was almost done, I used another Talika product I bought yesterday, it's the Eyebrow Extender Black. This has small fibers in it creating a darker and more full brow. Next spring the fuller brow is very much in fashion and I was thinking of thickening them like this without actually plucking any less hairs. Also I've been reading about 3 week extensions you can get placed on your eyebrow hairs and eyebrow transplantations lately, I'm not doing any of that, don't worry, I love my brows, but seeing how much attention is going to people's brows coming spring, makes me try out some things this winter.

I used my Sephora Eyelashcurler and a Max Factor black Masterpiece mascara to finish the eye.

I hope you're happy with the look Harrisons!!
And I hope everybody else is still enjoying the blogs and my rambling through the tutorials.

Here is another picture to show you how far fall has come here. I loved the colours in the trees so much and this is actually the view outside of my window.

All That Glitters - Halloween Look

Wow, people really responded positive to the preview

Here is the complete post. I did edit out a lot of pictures because I actually shot about 100 pictures during the placement of the makeup and doing that many pictures in one post is overkill.
Also I didn't get any theatre makeup, so all of the products used are normal makeup, so no special purchase. You don't have to get the same brand makeup if you want to recreate the look, just make sure the eye shadows blend well.

Here is the final look (I made my hair blue in Photoshop when I added the watermark because on Halloween you guys wear costumes and I think this goes well with a green or blue wig.)

If you're planning on wearing a costume, I would put the top half on before starting the makeup, because glitter in your clothes itches a LOT! Also I did my hair in a tight bun because I wanted the hair to not overpower the makeup and I have naturally very curly hair so that wouldn't look great. If you're wearing a wig pull your hair back already and draw some small markers on your face for you to know where it starts and finish the hairline makeup when you've added the wig later or wear the wig while putting on your makeup.

Lashes
- Unknown brand, Blue Mascara (waterproof)
- Bourjois - Glossy wet look mascara top coat

Quite a list huh!
Preparation
For a face filled with glitter, you need a well moisturised and clean skin. So I started with a good scrub using the Clinique 7 day scrub. On my eyes I used something a little stronger then usual (Stri Vectin- SD) to give my skin a little bit of a hug before abusing the living daylights out of it . On my lips I placed some Eight Hour Cream to moisture my lips. My face was twice moisturized, first with some Turnaround concentrate and then used Shimmering Moisturizing Mousse which has gold glimmers in it placing the base of glimmer, which will be followed by a lot more glimmer and glitter.

Perfect Canvas
Before adding layers of makeup, you need a great primer, and my foundation primer for the day was Photofinish. My eyes got a layer of Primer Potion and the base for the look was set.

As I said before there will be more glimmer added to the skin layer by layer, the layer that I placed at this point was Teint Parfait in Champagne, this complexion enhancer also has gold glimmer in it and makes the skin look even more perfect once the foundation is placed over it. I used Too Faced, Magic Wand Foundation because it's the lightest foundation I own and the primary inspiration was a mermaid type look. Under the sea there is no sun, so I wanted to look as light as I could without looking pale or scary light. I used the brush that's attached to the foundation for placement and blending. I concealed under my eyes with Camera Ready Concealer, placing it with the Concealer brush - no. 4, using what was left on the brush under my nose to hide any redness that could be there. As a highlighter I used Touche Eclat in a triangle starting with the downward point halfway down my nose and went up and out between my eyebrows and then went up a little more. Blend this really well. Under my eyes I also placed a triangle of highlight, blending out with my fingers. Under my eyebrows I placed some Highbrow under my eyebrows highlighting the area.
(Touche Eclat placed within the black lines)

I set the makeup I've already put on my face with some Super Matte Loose Powder using the Mineral Powder Brush. Now I did something you may wonder about, but I'll explain why I did this. I used contouring, not to create a more bronzed look but after you've placed all the makeup on your face without contouring you'll look flat. Also this places a cheat sheet for later when doing the cheekbones in blue. I contoured all the face near and into the hairline (pretty dark). I also contoured under my cheekbones and under my jawline.
(Contour placed within the pink lines)

I patted some of the blush from the same palette with my fingers on the apples of my cheeks to give some colour here before the glitter flattens the face. Over my forehead and over my cheekbones I placed some Loose Glitter Powder using a big flat brush. I also went over the top of my nose.
(Glimmer added within the blue lines)

I took up the Paradise Island Palette to use the cream shadow in silver all over my eyelid, giving it a sticky base for the shadow I'll place over it later. I also used the gold cream eyeshadow as a base on the rest of my eye. I used a H&M Champagne pencil (glittery gold) under my eyes because this is a place where glitter can creep into fine lines and irritate skin and make the lines look like deep wrinkles. So I'm using this instead of glitter here later.

I took up the Valley of the Stars kit and used the white shimmery eyeshadow over the silver cream eyeshadow. I used the big All Over Shadow brush to feather out the lines while placing the shadow. I also placed some of this colour on the inner corner of my eye. Another thing I did using this brush and eyeshadow is make the first line of shadow to my hairline.
Taking op the Meringue I went over the rest of my eye keeping a small triangle under the arch without colour. I also built up the line I placed with the white and placed this colour above it, blending into the white and blending up. I used the no. 26 Shadow brush for this.

I put some Colorful in strass (no. 010) in the arch of my eyebrow and placed a thick line above the Meringue blending it in at the bottom and blending it out at the top. This colour is a champagne like colour with some glimmer in it. My eye is now coloured in and I need to work up at the forehead, making it look further back then it is. I want to make it look like my hairline is further back by placing green glimmer and glitter in the fuzzy curly hair at the hairline. But I'm not there yet, I need to patiently work the gradient up.
The next colour I'm using is Scratch which is a pinkish champagne colour. I love this colour and now you can see why I contoured around the hairline. Through the Scratch you can see a little of the underlying colour and I placed this up to my temples.

For all the colour blending on my forehead I used the no. 26 brush. The next colour is Grifter which I took above the brows. The colour Asphyxia was the colour on top of that and I also used it over the bridge of the nose down a little. Hotpants is a pink colour which I took in a point down my nose blending it with the Asphyxia. For the dark pinkish red on my nose I used Cherry Red with a Shanted Brush to place the colour like a staple. I went into the bottom of my eyebrows and blended it out. Where it was placed on my nose I cleaned the brush and then went over the colour upward with the same brush to feather the colour into the Hotpants.

I took up a purple eyeliner and lined the underside of the pink on my nose, making the edges cleaner then the pink was.
Going back to the forehead gradient now with Stalker blending it down and up followed by Ransom which is a very vibrant purple. The colours from the Deluxe box are more pigmented and therefor are better to use as the popping colours.

I took up the colour Goddess which is a very dark blue with glitter only to the outer edges of the gradient, I didn't place this at the bottom to make the face look smaller.
I stopped working upward for a minute and placed Peace into my hairline working down to my ears.

I took up a Smudger from The Body Shop but it's actually a HUGE applicator and placed some base colour Ombre a paupieres (04 Noir Precieux) on the leftover bare skin on my forehead. This colour looks very dark in the container, but I was very disappointed with the darkness on my skin. Thankfully I'll place some glitter over it later.

I deepened the Bourjois colour on my forehead a little with some dark purple from Smashbox. Then decided to not care anymore, no one will notice later, so I went on to make my ears green. I used Mildew for this (remember to really go into the folds) because it's a shiny green but has no glitter so no glitter can fall into the ears. Remember to blend the green into the Peace at the hairline and blend out downwards. As a highlight I used Honey, placing it with a fluffy Crease Brush on the edges to make the ear more 3D.

Because I wanted to see how far I could go later on with green and blue contouring I needed to see all the colour in my face, so I did my lips at this point. I'd moisturized with Eight Hour Cream when I started and blotted that off now. Because I don't have a blue lipstick I used a very creamy eyeliner in metallic blue over the lips. I needed it to look glossy and not dead, so I went over it with a soft pink gloss (Who are you wearing) and took a very very old brush to place some Blaze on my lips. You can create this effect by puckering your lips and tapping the powder into your gloss, not blending.

Next up I sculpted the face some more. I used the no 45 mineral brush for this, placing some Azure under my cheekbones and jawline, and went over it at the places where I wanted it darker with a green in Apple jam. Both these colours are loose pigments so they blend out really well. I also placed some extra mildew at the top hairline and used some Apple Jam there too, to take the look even further back.

At this point everything is done but the glitter.

If you want the glitter to stay on through heavy clubbing, get a make up sealer to use over the glitter or use a glitter glue under the glitter. I only did this look for you guys so I used water to make it stick. This also works if you're doing normal things.
Place a piece of paper under the glitter jars, because you will spill from your finger (or brush if you prefer it, but I hate getting glitter out of brushes so I use my finger). All the spilled glitter you'll put in your hair at the end, so no glitter actually goes to waste.

I used an Evian water spray over my forehead and started by patting the dark purple glitter on the purple eyeshadow. I patted it in a way that the glitter fades out at the edges.

I have a lighter purple (Purple Star) glitter which I placed over the lighter purple shadow, blending it up into the dark purple and down a little for a softer edge. Next up was the green glitter (Pine Green) into the hairline and into the start of the hair.

I placed a blue glitter (Royal Blue) over the Peace colour and a pink glitter (Fancy Pink) over the lightest purple and pink, still blending the glitters with a patting motion.

On my eyes I placed a silver glitter that you can put on the eye area (make sure that the glitter you use can be used where you want to place it, also don't use glitter on or near your ears). I used a white greenish glitter (oyster coloured) under my eyes and on my cheekbones (no directly under the eyes). Make sure not to place extra glitter on your nose or jawline to prevent you from looking like you actually fell into a bowl of glitter. You can place glitter on your Cupid's bow if you wish to draw some attention here.

You probably have some glitter that is on the paper now, take that and work back from the hairline, making the glitter fade going backwards. You also probably have some glitter fallen into your eyelashes. Close your eye, and with the end of a brush (not the brush side) go back and forth over the lashes to make them fall out of the lashes before adding mascara.
I used a blue mascara with a glossy wet look mascara top coat on top of that to make it seem like the lashes are still wet.

Sideshot:

Endface (with photoshopped blue hair)

I hope you like this look and that the explanation is helpful.

Five minute natural-ish eye look

Part two for Bellaressa

When you have business meetings and lunches I'd go for a more simple professional look like this look I created for you, it's natural because of the brown, but the liner and the darker crease work well for your glasses.

This look can be done in 5 minutes flat (but let's say between 5 to 10 minutes because you might not have my speed) because you use mostly your fingers and a little brown shadow and liner.

Final eye:

When cleansing your face or doing makeup, remember to wash your hands beforehand.

Products in this picture
- Dior, Capture R60/80™ - First wrinkle smoothing eyecreme
- Dior, Capture R60/80™ - First wrinkle smoothing creme
- Dior, Capture R60/80™ - Finish UV - Daily UV protection 35 SPF
- Bliss, Thinny Thin Chin

Preparation
Today is a foggy day, but when the fog is gone, it's supposed to be very very bright and sunny, so I'm preparing my skin already. I'm starting with a clean face (Neutrogena Cleansing Cushions) and I'm moisturizing with first of all an eye creme. Next I'm massaging the moisturizer into my skin to make my skin look more plump and up the circulation. I'm also massaging the Thinny Thin Chin on my neck and up to my jawline. Finishing the preparation with a layer of Finish UV.

Products in this picture
- Smashbox, Photo Finish - Foundation Primer SPF 15 & Dermaxyl™
- Smashbox, Photo Op - Under eye brightener
- Urban Decay, Eyeshadow Primer Potion
- Dior, Diorskin Airflash - Spray foundation in 202
- Benefit Highbrow
- Smashbox, Camera Ready Concealer - 3.0

Face
My "naked" eye:

I started the face with Photo Finish - Foundation Primer SPF 15 & Dermaxyl™ because when having a long day, you want your skin to look fresh the entire day and this primer really does that. Also the extra SPF is good if you're don't have SPF in your moisturizer.

To brighten the eye-area I opted for Photo Op, placing this also on my eyelid to help with puffiness.

At this point I'm priming my eyes with Eyeshadow Primer Potion and really blending it out with my fingers to a thin base.

For a great quick flawless face I use Diorskin Airflash which is a spray foundation. This is sooo simple, to place a towel over your hairline to prevent accidentally spraying on your hair and then you spray in a Z motion and you're done. You take a Q-tip for taking the foundation of your eyebrows and voila, flawless skin.

At this point I pressed a little Highbrow under my brows with my fingers (I haven't touched a brush so far ) .

I finished the face with Camera Ready Concealer to conceal minimal dark circles, again using my fingers to blend.

Products in this picture
- Mark, Eyeshadow - Whisper/Souffle
- Mark, Eyeshadow - Cafe Latte
- Sephora, All over shadow brush - no. 21
- Mark, Eyeshadow - Espresso
- Smashbox, Definer Brush - no. 15
- Mark, Metalliner Eye Glam Hook Up - Bronze Edge
- Dior, Diorshow - 090 Black Waterproof
- Sephora, Eyelash curler
- Tweezerman, Lashcomb
- Smashbox, Jet Set - Bronze
- Smashbox, Arced Liner Brush - no. 21
- Smashbox, Lip Brilliance Palette - Perfect Pout
- The Body Shop - Retractable Lipbrush

Eyes
As a matte base eyeshadow I chose Whisper/Souffle and placed this with the All Over Shadow brush all over my eyelid.

Next up I placed some Cafe Latte (also a matte eyeshadow) in my crease all the way in. For this I used again the no. 21 brush. For the placement of the brush, see this picture:

Now you can also see where I place my pinky for a more steady hand.
Next I placed Espresso with the no. 15 definer brush in a

Next I drew a thin line of Bronze Edge on my top lash line.

If you need a less intense eye, at this point you could curl the lashes and add mascara, but you wear glasses so I added a little JetSet in Bronze with the arced liner brush to my waterlines.
I then curled my lashes and added one coat of Diorshow cleaning the lashes with a lash comb to create more fluttery lashes.

On my lips I used Perfect Pout the, middle colour using a lip brush:

Making the lips look like:

For long days of wearing makeup, you sometimes need to freshen up the makeup or turn a day look into a night look. I always have ModelCo - Liquid Buds Eye Make Up Remover in my bag, these Q-tip like sticks are filled with eye makeup remover and smudges or mistakes can easily be removed without having a huge mess.

I hope you like this look!!
Have a great weekend everyone!
I'll do the Faith Hill look tomorrow, I got false lashes today (the things I do for you ), I'm done with makeup for today because I'm getting my hair cut (sooo scary! My hair goes down to my waist now and I'm going to get it cut just below the shoulder) because it's starting to look less healthy. Also it's getting cut in a new way, in a point (I'm sick of the straight cut and this way I can still sneak in some length.

Smokey eye with grey and satin gold eye look.

I love doing a light smokey eye for day and I spiced it up a little with a satin gold colour.

I wanted to wear a jean skirt today and with that my look automatically goes to a grey smokey eye. But I did want to add a little bit of a highlight using gold. I also wanted to use a lot less products then yesterday, because yes you can use a lot of products, but a little is also great for looks.

Products in this picture
- Shiseido, The Skincare - Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam
- Neutrogena Visibly Clear Moisturiser
- Neutrogena PureGlow Eyecream

Preparation
I started with the Shiseido Cleansing Foam again, I did notice that my skin was extremely soft yesterday night and I wanted to see if it's because of this cleanser so I'm going to use it for the next couple of days.
My skin is a little moody for some reason, I think it's because it's rainy and cold one day and warm and sunny the next. So I used the Visibly Clear Moisturizer to ensure no breakouts and the PureGlow Eyecream as my eye cream today.

Products in this picture
- Yves Saint Laurent, Teint Parfait no. 7
- Smashbox, Camera Ready Concealer in 3.0
- Smashbox, Concealer Brush no. 4
- Yves Saint Laurent, Touche Eclat no. 2

Face
I wanted to look made up, but not use a lot of products so I kept most things to a minimum, skipping primers etc.
I used the Teint Parfait as my foundation today, I wanted to give my skin a little bit of a break and this works perfectly. For concealing my dark circles I used the Camera Ready Concealer out of the tube on my dark circles and blended this with the concealer brush. I topped it off with a little Touche Eclat for some brightness under my eyes.

- Smashbox, Eye Shadow Trio in Shutterspeed
- Smashbox, Eye Shadow Quad in Supernatural
- Smashbox, Definer Brush no. 15
- Eyebrow brush
- Sephora, Eyelash curler
- Christian Dior, Diorshow waterproof in Black

Eyes
Again I didn't use any primer so I went straight to the middle colour from the Shutterspeed trio, brushing it on with the no. 15 brush. I then used the same brush (wiped on a towel) to apply the grey colour from the lash line all the way up to just above the crease, really buffing the colour into the skin using circular motions (circles moving from the outside of the eye up and then finishing the circle, damn this is hard to explain :S ). I used the same brush again (wiped again) to apply the yellow/gold from the Supernatural quad to the centre of my eyelid and blended it at the edges (over the grey, highlighting this grey and giving it a subtle glow).

This quad really is perfect if you want a natural eye and need some colours to make it look pretty.

I then brushed my brows into shape, curled my lashes and used mascara. I did do something "new" with the mascara though, I didn't brush the lashes outward like you do when you want a more catlike eye, I brushed them inward to create a more open eye.

Lips
On my lips I used a Smashbox lip gloss. This lip gloss (Lip Enhancing Gloss Full Color in Aura) is very sticky and stays put pretty well for a gloss.
