Hey everyone! Sorry i haven't posted in awhile, been really busy.
Today I wanted to share two versions of a smokey eye, one simple and another a bit more glamorous and dramatic.

Some friends kindly requested I give the dark lips trend a shot and I was more than happy to give in to it.
I like dark lips, I actually wear them every once in awhile, so I just decided to give an example of how I do it.
First:
I make sure my skin is moisturized and apply foundation and concealer where needed (in this case, Revlon Colorstay in Light Beige and Clinique All About Eyes Concealer in Light Golden), I think it's very important to have flawless skin if wearing dark lips so the two don't compete.

I have been in dire need of a new foundation for quite awhile now.
Smoky Eyes
I wanted to go for the smoky eye since I'm going to the opera tonight, but I didn't want to go over board with it or the rest of my make up.
I used a charcoal color from the palate that I have on the eye, Fresh mascara, and Revlon eyeliner.
The rest of my face is the Cover Girl True Match foundation, NARS blush, and Burt's Bees lip balm.
