My daughter hates the taste of most toothpaste. She says even the mild, children's versions are "too spicy." In an effort to appease her and get her pearly whites clean, I turned the task into a lil science experiment and added a bit of baking soda to a splash of water and had her mix the slightly salty paste.

Instead of makeup, shampoos, or hair removal devices, for this week's Beauty Mark It Challenge we're talking teeth. I wanted to know which toothpastes got those pearlies all sparkly and which ones didn't freshen as nicely. Thanks to all of your reviewing efforts, and here are my favorites below:

Out of silver polish? In a pinch? You can use white toothpaste to clean the tarnish off your silver instead!

A few weeks ago, I ran out of toothpaste. I'm not sure how it happened, but when I went to grab a new box from my toothpaste stash, it turned up empty. (I'll blame it all on Mr. Bella.)
Whatever the case, I didn't have time to go out and buy a new tube right then and there, and I had already cut it open to squeeze out the last remnants the night before.

These designer whitening toothpastes are all the rage with product and hygiene junkies. They have actually turned into cult items. These pastes are minty fresh and contain whitening ingredients to help remove nasty stains that cause yellowing and discoloration.

Picking out a toothpaste can be more than a little confusing because there are so many choices. One freshens breath. One is good for sensitive teeth.
