Hey ladies!

I know, it's been a while I haven't been on nor posting anything. There's a lot of stuff going on in my life right now so it leaves me no choice on taking a break, but now I'm back!

So I've recently bought a bunch of liquid foundations although I realized I don't have a foundation brush! I've lost mine months ago but it doesn't hurt that much since it was a cheap one..

Tell me, what's your favorite liquid foundation brush that you cannot live without?

I just heard that La Mer, Jo Malone and Bobbi Brown are doing something at Bergdorf Goodman next week. Has anyone been to one of these parties? The girl at the counter said it was a fun cocktail party and that there were no strings attached but I am weary...has anyone gone to one of these events? I really REALLY want to go but don't want to be suckered into buying something I wasn't ready to. Thoughts? Want to come with me?

Foundation help!

I have tried TONS of different foundations, and found many that I've liked. Problem is, many foundations don't like me- they aggravate my acne. I have acne scars so I need a foundation that is full-coverage even when I'm not having a breakout. Full-coverage isn't THAT hard to find, but a make-up that will not only give me the coverage I need but will actually stay on my oily skin is darn near impossible. I LOVE bare minerals foundation. I think it looks beautifully and it doesn't cause any breakouts. Only problem is that it doesn't want to stay on my face, my face looks like an oil slick after only an hour of wear. (Please don't tell me about the power of primers, I've tried many and though they do help in creating a smooth appearance, even the mattifying ones do not help with my oil skin). The only foundation I've found that gives me flawless coverage AND stays on is MAC studiofix powder. Its seriously AMAZING. Its pretty much stage make-up but doesn't give me a caked on appearance and lasts for hours. I feel confident in it and think it really helps hide my acne scarring that I'm so ashamed of. One problem- it reaks absolute havoc on my skin! I breakout after wearing it for one night! I'd given it up for awhile and have been using bareminerals but pulled out the ol' studiofix for Halloween and remembered how much in love with it I was. Great for a night, but I am in the midst of a SEVERE, ugly and painful breakout because of my one night affair with it.
Anyone know of a full coverage foundation that will actually stay on but not make me hate my life the next morning?I like wearing a liquid under bareminerals on the very scarred parts that need extra coverage but I think the one I use occasionally is also contributing to my acne.
Suggestions are very welcome PLEASE. Anything from drugstore to high end.
