Swatches are up and in some cases, Baby Bloom has been released! It's different for MAC- very sheer and simple with very wearable products. What do you think?

I always look trough this website ( http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/index.php ) for online safety guide of cosmetics and personal care products before buying them because I'm very aware of the stuff that I'm putting on my skin.
So tell me, do you care about the ingredients of your cosmetics?

I love blush. It's definately my favorite cosmetic to buy and apply. I'm a fan of powder blushes, mostly because I tend to have oily/combo skin and I think powder just works better for me.

Has anyone done it? I went to a hair dresser about a month ago and went from black (my natural colour) to a coppery base tone with red and copper and blond highlights. Now I want to go back to my regular colour.

I have been using BareEscentuals because it claims to be natural and good for your skin, but I have heard lots of people rave about MAC even though I used to find it not natural enough for my tastes maybe its changed?
I used to use Perscriptives and my friends have mentioned Stila in the past...
Please comment if you have a strong opinion about these or any other make-up brands....

Do you swap used makeup, either with your friends, family or on MUA? I pretty much swap only with my sister. For instance yesterday, she brought over some BE makeup that was too light for her, and I gave her my BE summer bisque that was too dark for me, some EM blush and some coppery-colored HIP shadow that doesn't look good on me.

Something I've been thinking about is when I should start worring wrinkles, I've read in magazines (in the UK) about ladies as young as 20 getting botox! (also I dont take care of my skin, i.e.

I have just tried the UD Big Fatty Black Cherry Mascara and have fallen in love with it. I am not a big fan of the regular big fatty mascara, it is soooo thick.

Personally, I'm an EM convert - great price, great product, but I hate that they don't have retail outlets! Sheer Cover has always looked a little generic for me - I'm not an infomercial kinda gal, and Bare Minerals has such a price tag! (But they jars look so, so pretty...)
I've also heard stuff about Afterglow Cosmetics, Signature Minerals, etc...

I got to admit, some items in my case are virtually untouched, such as bronzers, and random eye shadows. I end up using the same colors most of the time. Only when I have the luxury of time to do my make up do I dig around, explore, even rediscover the whole range of stuff I have in my case.

I saw this question posed on http://www.temptalia.com/ and adapted it into a poll.
Personally, nobody has ever told me that I wear too much make up, but at my workplace, hardly anyone puts on any decent make up. The most the others use is foundation and some lipstick, that's all.

Okay, for my daughter's gradutaion next month I want to get her a new makeup set. She has had a few problems with her skin and we have spent some bucks and time getting it looking good so for her graduation (besides the car we have already gotten her *sighs*) I want to get her a fresh good makeup colletion so as not to ruin the results we have gotten. These are the 2 I am trying to decide between and am having a hard time so I would love your opinions!

The Elemis Day Spa
I’ve just booked in for a Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial at the fabulous Elemis Day Spa (which, by the way, is a little slice of heaven in central London. I’d live in the place if I could). I haven’t had a facial for about a year so I am treating myself to one of these babies.

I haven't used toner in years. I picked some up at the Clinique counter years ago along with a whole skin care line, but seemed to get lazy with using it. Previous to that I just remember some toners reaking like alcohol, so that turned me off.

I saw this really pretty lady on the tube yesterday and she looked great except for the fact that she was wearing nude lippie and really dark coffee lipliner (like Pammie, only worse). For some reason this always really bugs me when I see it! Inevitably, the lipstick wears off first, leaving an unnatural tattoo line around the mouth - not a good look!

I'm a college student, about to graduate from University of Wisconsin (Go Bucky!) I worked full time all through school and luckily, I'm going to graduate with no debt!
However, this meant a lot of scrimping and saving along the way. I can't live without makeup, but a lot of the nicer brands were out of reach during the last four years due to price.

Well, any particular preferences when it comes to choosing a hair salon? Do you prefer those swanky big brand name types, or you go to anyone in your neighbourhood?
For me, if it is just a simple wash and blow (or when I feel like coloring my hair jet black) I will just pop by my friendly neighbourhood salon, but for something fancier (like treatments, highlights and new cuts), I would go to my regular one in town.

Well, my bathroom and the whole kitchen is undergoing a major renovation (meaning the whole house is dusty and messy) and I have to use the spare toilet which is lacking in hot water, a proper showerhead. Which mean I cannot bear to wash my hair in the morning! It would just take me too long, and I would be late for work.

Anything that's cheap, I would never hurt my expensive "baby"!

So last week my bestest of girlfriends asked the following question and I was actually stumped on how to answer…
"How much would you say you spend, on average, monthly on your beauty products?"
I am comfortable being totally honest with her about anything, yet I found myself wanting to shrink the number considerably - and I don't know why! It's my money; I can spend it on what I want!
