What is your personal preference when choosing a foundation formula? Foundations are not so cut and dry anymore. There was a time when you wore cream if you were dry, liquid for normal and powder for oily. Not so anymore. There are creams for oily skin. Mousse foundations. Powders that work best for dry skin. Where do you go? Where do you start? I personally look for coverage first and then worry about if it works for dry skin or not. My favorite though is cream foundation because you can manipulate it in so many different ways. I'm a girl who likes options. What about you?

Tinted moisturizer!
I'm with Betty Wayne--tinted moisturizer! It just has a lighter feel and look without being drying. Any needed corrections can usually be dealt with with a little concealer or illuminator.

i also use tinted moisturizer with concealer. the kind i use leaves my skin dewy and it doesn't feel heavy at all
liquid when I want more coverage, such as Lancome's Teint Idole Freshwear or Ultra, and powder foundation such as Lancome's Dual Finish when I want more sheer coverage.
