Hello, my fellow BPJs!

I have been fortunate enough to have gotten samples of two complete lines of anti-aging skincare! Guinot and MLab. Now, usually, when I get samples, I just try one here and there, but I have decided to do a grand experiment and to try an entire new line all at once!

That is where you all come in.....I need your help in deciding which line I should try and report back on first. Here are photos and details about what I have:

Guinot

Included in this set were:

Intelligent Cell Renewal for Eyes
Fresh Radiance Exfoliating Peel-off Mask
Youth Renewing Skin Cream
Anti-Wrinkle Rich Night Cream (2)
Long Lasting Moisturizing Cream
Intelligent Cell Renewal Cream
Double Slimming Targeted Treatment

MLab

Included in this set were:

Anti-aging Cleanser
Anti-aging Blemish Control Cleanser
Anti-aging Toner
Anti-aging Day Treatment SPF 15
Anti-aging Treatment Cream (2)
Anti-aging Blemish Control Treatment
Anti-aging Eye Cream

So, now is the time to vote! Which one shall I use first? Remember, I am going to stop using my regular products and just use the entire line you choose until the samples run out and will then report back to you all about my experience!

UPDATE 2/8/09

Ok, I went to see my esthetician at Nordy's on Saturday to get a wax. I brought up the MLab and Guinot products to her. She raved about the Guinot products! She knew all about the company and said that she had been even talking to Nordy's about carrying their products...I guess it is something they are considering. She hadn't heard of MLab. I told her that their "hook" was that their products had more percentage of active ingredients than most, but she pointed out to me that that could just be more hype than substance. She said that, depending on what type of emulsion it is in, it could affect the effectiveness of the active ingredients. So, for example, putting a 75% AHA solution in a base of one type could reduce it's effectiveness down to a solution that is only the equivalent of, say, a 5% solution. (Does that make sense? She said it so much better than me! Embarassed )
Also, she pointed out that what I am doing now is really working for me. She said to make sure that the line I was considering changing to had some of the same elements in the routine that I swear by now. I hadn't even thought about that!

Anyway, today I went to the spa that carries Guinot, and the esthetician there was really nice. She looked at my skin and guess that I was 10 years younger than I actually am! Smiling (That certainly started my day off on a happy note! LOL! ) She let me play around with some of the Guinot products to feel the consistency, which I liked a lot. The only thing I am not pleased about with the line is that it doesn't seem to be heavy on the exfoliation side, which we all know I am slightly obsessed with! Sticking out tongue She pointed out that the samples would most likely last me about a week and that in that time, I would know for sure if it WASN'T working for me, but that I might need more product to try to see if the line was going to make an actual difference in my skin....

So there I am .... that is my update, as promised! Does it make anyone change their mind? What do you all think??
