First off, I want to let you know I have only used this 4x's however I was able to form a opinion on this.

-The shampoo:
This works well however if used everyday it will dry your hair; I used it every other day. The product did exactly what it stated: removed dandruff, didn't overdry my hair and left it smooth (and silky.) The only problem I have with this is the ingredients:

Inactive Ingredients: Water,Sodium Laureth Sulfate,Sodium Lauryl Sulfate,Cocamide MEA,Zinc Carbonate,Glycol Distearate,Dimethicone,Fragrance,Cetyl Alcohol,Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride,Magnesium Sulfate,Sodium Benzoate,Magnesium Carbonate Hydroxide,Ammonium Laureth Sulfate,Benzyl Alcohol,Sodium Chloride.

I have been trying to break away from products with those ingredients, however if you are dealing with flakes then I would recommend trying this since it did help me. Also, I didn't mind the scent however if you prefer fragrances to wash out then this isn't for you; the scent lasts until your next shower.

- The conditioner:
Is okay, it's not a HG item. It is very easy to apply to little and have dry hair, or apply to much and have your hair weighed down. If you can get the right amount down for your hair type then it works well. Again, I like the fragrance however I can understand if many people dislike it; it is a strong scent, not floral or oriental, it is a combo of the two. The conditioner does leave my hair managable and soft, which is why I like it. I still have issues with the ingredients:

- Inactive Ingredients:Water,Stearyl Alcohol,Cetyl Alcohol,Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine,Dimethicone,Glutamic Acid,Benzyl Alcohol,Phenoxyethanol,Fragrance,Methylparaben,Propylparaben,Citric Acid.

If I had issues with dandruff again I would buy this (even though I hate the ingredients) since it did help me. I would probably look into other products however this would be a product I keep in mind in a emergency.
