See, not nearly as scary on actual lips.
I was VERY leery of the crazy hot pink color, but it really goes on pretty sheer with just enough pink to look like healthy pink lips. I am actually very impressed. I LOVE the container, my major beef with most glosses is the goop that collects around the lid, and there is no way that will happen with this cool applicator. It also smells nice.
So, not sure if I would pay $18 for a full sized one, but I am glad I chose this for my sample. If you are a real gloss lover, you will not be disapointed.

2I completely agree. I have this sample as well and it goes on nice and sheer. And the Sex on the Beach one looks even SCARIER in the tube but goes on nicely as well.

6yeah whip i got the sex on the beach lorac sample. it is frightening even coming out of the tube....that hot pink/fuschia color. but it is more sheer than it seems. and it tastes yummers.

18Love it!!! It looks so pretty on you!! And yeah, the color is rarely as bright on your lips as in the tube. Peeps should always try to color and not be scared of how it appears in the tube.

22I got this one (Lava Flow) as a freebie too. I was scared to try it but since Whip tried it and loved it, I gave it a try. I was shocked!! I really liked how it looked. I guess I need to try the SOTB also since it has been sitting in the drawer even longer than the lava flow.
