I decided to try this product out because I received 2 samples of it. It goes a long way..so my samples will last me awhile.
After getting out of the shower I decided to try the product. I squeezed a pea size amount on my palms and rubbed them together and I distributed it evenly throughout my hair. After blowdrying my hair my hair felt extremely soft and frizz free! This is the best product that I've tried that eliminates my frizz
I was also happy because my hair is naturally straight, but because it is thick I have to straighten it. However, after using this product I decided to skip using my flat iron. If i was going out, I would probably use it to touch up the ends..however any product that works enough where I don't feel the need to use my flat iron is good in my books
. The reason I gave it a four out of five stars is because I felt it made my hair dull. I didn't think it made it shiny at all. But other than that I liked the product. It smells great too...like cherry vanilla frosting!
However, for $28 a bottle, that is a little pricey. I think I'll just stick to my samples and when I'm all out I'll go back to using my Fekkai Glossing Cream. Or I know Sephora sells travel size items now of this, so I might go purchase the smaller size that is less expensive.
Hope my review helps!

Post a CommentGreat review! You should pop this into the Beauty Product Junkies group so more people will see it!
I always wondered how well his products work?
You said you hair is thick...do you cut layers into it? I have a lot of hair so I have to have lots of layers to make it feel lighter
JessNess, yes my hair hair is layered. But because its long its still thick.
Thanks for moving it! Now all the junkies can see.
ahhh I gotcha ya. I know how it feels
Thanks for the review! I'm always on the lookout for something that will help tame the poof my hair becomes after blow-drying
Cool! I have samples too, but have never gotten around to using them. Will try soon.
Yay! Trish - your hair sounds like mine (thick hair is a blessing and a curse...), and I will definitely be trying this stuff out.
I LOVE Silky Dirt...as a person who has had practically all hairstyles with naturally curly thick hair, i find Silky Dirt to work PERFECTLY with my flat iron. I have used Avada(sp?) in the past and the smell got to me with my hair always feeling sort of sticky. "Dirt" has always been my fave with short hair and "silky dirt" with my long hair..and it even protects my hair leaving it smooth and soft, still feeling clean!
