As they are closing down I though I would review the bronzer.. show some appreciation!

(pic from the pout website)
I bought the bronzer in the darker of the two shades.. sun blushed/sun drenched. No point buying the lighter shade.. even if you are very pale. Its so pale it just looks like you got your foundation a bit wrong!!
The color is a little disappointing for a bronzer as it didn't make me bronze..its one of those orangey looking bronzers that is more like a lovely gold/peach shade blush. Because of this it did come out a little unnatural on my light olive skin color. When used sparingly it looked subtle and nice and gave me a gorgeous glow.. but by no means could I even try pass off for 'natural' or 'sun kissed'!
It does have a little subtle shimmer to it.. it makes you look like you are dewy fresh and glowing..not sparkly. Its definitely perfect for daytime and evening.. especially if you dont want to wear full make up but want to add a bit of color to your face. Its also quite good on dry skin as it doesnt look chalky.
One big bonus was that indeed it didnt smudge. According to the shop assistant who sold it to me it has silicone (or something like it) in it that makes it very smooth to apply. I must agree. I applied it on top of moisturiser that hadnt fully dried today and nothing. No drag queen streaks!!
The first time I wore it I got caught in the rain and I didnt get water marks.. didnt need to do anything more than top it off a little and I was good to go again.
It gets 3.5 out of 5.. just because I thought it was a great long lasting formula.. but the shades were just a bit off. If i buy a bronzer.. i want to be bronzed!!
Ill stick to my Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer. NOTHING beats Guerlain for bronzers

I miss this!!
