A cheap and easy way to deep condition your locks? The answer is mayonnaise! I've tried it myself a few times, and it made my hair a lot smoother and shinier. The egg in mayonnaise has protein which helps strengthen hair (good for people who are on a mission to grow their hair out, like me). Apply mayonnaise to dry hair. If your hair is on the oily side, apply from the hair shaft down to the ends. Leave it in for 20 mins. If your hair is dry, you can leave it in longer if you like.

Have to try, just conditioned my hair today with olive oil. Next will be mayo...ty
1ive actually put a whole egg (raw of course) in my hair with a little EVOO and some yogurt (which helps with the eggy smell and moisturizes). thats a great DIY mask too.
2i used to do this but honestly it makes your hair stink and it is so yucky. Plus it takes forever to get out. i'd use a hot oil treatment over this, you get the same results.

Was the smell as disgusting as I just imagined in my head?
5I've been wanting to do this, but I know the smell alone would leave me hovering over my toilet puking my brains out all for condition my poor dry over processed hair.
6Very nice !!!!
7Thank you
I don't really mind the smell actually. I make sandwiches a lot
8I have tried this before and it really works!!
9My mom used to do this to my hair when I was little. I now am a huge fan of kolestral. Both products work better if you wrap your head in a hot moist towel.
10I'll try it !!!
