I need help finding a good moisturizer that is: Glycerin free, that is okay acne prone skin, and is good for oily skin w/ some dry spots (nose, chin, eye-brow area. worse in fall/winter yet t-zone gets easily oily.) If you can recommend one I would really love it. Thank you in advance.
Episode
I know a lot of people swear by Cetaphil (great for sensitive acne prone skin) but I think it contains glycerin. Actually I think you will have a hard time to find a glycerin free moisturizer....good luck!
1I happened to be browsing on Sephora when I read this so I typed in a search and found DDF. I don't have the same skin issues and haven't used this so I don't know anything about it but I know Sephora lets you return things.

3I have the same skin type and i use Cetaphil moisturizer...works very well!
4eh i just checked the cetaphil website and it does contain glycerin...sorry! i hope you find something soon
5Another product to consider is the Sanitas skin care line. They have a program for your particular skin needs and all ingredients are glycerin-free and organic. I use their formulas for dry skin and love how my skin looks. My friend, Meow Sugar, is an esthetician and works with this line. Send her a private message and she can tell you more about the products. Here is a blurb about them: Healthy Skin is Beautiful Skin
Your skin has the amazing ability to regenerate itself, especially when you treat it with the right balance of stimulation and nourishment. This simple truth is the foundation of the Sanitas Skincare line.
Sanitas products offer uniquely effective solutions to common skin care problems, because they utilize substances already present in the skin to stimulate the natural healing process.
A small amount is all that's required to enhance desirable body biochemistry that accelerates tissue regeneration, encourages new cell growth, increases blood supply and stimulates collagen and natural moisture factor production.
Sanitas formulations promote healthy skin, and healthy skin is beautiful skin.
Good luck!!!!!!!
6I use the Decleor line and love it! They use all natural oils which actually combat oiliness and moisturize at the same time. You would have to select the correct one for your skin type, they have 3 or 4. At Sephora.
7I'm a big fan of Proactiv Solution Oil Free Moisture with SPF 15. I get oily during the day REALLY easily but with this moisturizer, it's not nearly as bad. I don't think it has glycerin, at least not from the list of ingredients I've been able to find. Check out the Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturizer too.
8I have oily skin with a few dry spots (cheeks) and I adore Philosophy's Hope in Jar! It works great! I've introduced a few of my friends and family to it as well who have also become followers. Sephora carries it as does Drugstore.com.
Happy Shopping!

10Thank you so much everyone! I'm going to check each of these products/lines out!
11White Ice from Arcona does not contain glyserin. I love it. I have the same issues as you, I break out because my skin is sensetive. Beauty.com or arcona.com.
12And dryness, though my skin isn't dry anymore after I started using Arcona. Yay!
13I wish I could help but I am clueless when it comes to buyingone for myself. I hope you find something soon and one that works for you. Let us know what happens.
