Hi! I just got back from Hong Kong (HK) a couple of days back. I think I fly over there 2 to 3 times a year for shopping and good eats. Weather is lovely there this time of the year, cooling and sunny! I think that HK is a BPJ heaven! They have so many labels which are not available in my country (Singapore), so this trip, I find myself buying lots of NARS stuff ( I bought my first NARS products, the Orgasm last year).
Here is a picture of me looking like a kid in a candy store. That's my 14 yr old brother next to me, looking rather bemused and I guess, bored.

FACESSS - kind of like Sephora, at Harbour City, Hong Kong.
I bought the Deep Throat and Nightsky for my younger sister, and the little Lancome palette for another even younger sister.
I am loving the Thrrob, it is a light sparkly pink, and shows off really well on my fair skin.
So, here are more stuff to add to my already overflowing stash!

I love your eye shadow collection, such wearable colors.
1Fabulous stuff!

2Great stuff! I'm loving Benefit's boxed blushes.
3this is my first benefit product ever, despite its popularity. just never got into the hype of benefit, but i think i am quite happy with Thrrob so far. Heh.
I think I need to try out more colors besides my usual dark/black ones.. so I have been venturing out into the greens recently.
Oh and I got a new MAC brush yesterday the 217 , which is perfect for eyeshadow blending. hmmm, and new bottle of MAC brush cleaner, and i replenished my Khiels moisturiser. Gosh, ok, that's another little haul. LOL.
4Maybe I should try the Thrrob since Dandelion is just too pale on me.
Nice stash!
5great haul! Your brother is so tall and a cutey- poor guy had to suffer like that. Did you make him carry all that stuff? Just curious- how do prices compare in Hong Kong to online prices you see on Sephora or if you have ever traveled to the US? Is there a special tax as well. Enjoy your new products- I am getting really curious myself about all the Benefit blushes everyone is raving about.
6Yay! Makeup is good!
7Sofi - yeah, he is really tall - 5'10 and still shooting! and nope, I did not have him carry all my shopping stuff. I did bought a whole lot of stuff at H&M too.
About the prices....bleah!! I just went to Sephora.com and checked out all the items I bought, and the total is cheaper, esp now that the US$ is getting weaker. Boo! But they don't seem to ship internationally.
8Note to self: Must get my uncle to ship from his US home to me.
yeah, we used to send things over to our relatives in Europe mainly because of the taxes they put on all items there. can get pretty ridiculous. Get free shipping from Sephora (that should be easy for you) t o your uncle and reimburse him to ship to you.
9Love all of your new stuff
And your brother's face cracked me up! "Can we go now??"
Hee!
10double bleah - "you must have both a shipping address and credit card billing address within the United States. In addition, the issuing bank must be based in the United States." - seems quite a hassle. the last time, i ordered shoes on piperlime and got into a whole mess because of my billing address and shipping address was different and everything got delayed...but i got my shoes in the end!
11Boo! What if you wanted to send a 'gift' to someone in the States. I would call them and let them hear about it
Do you have a beauty insider card- show them what a good customer you are and can be!!! Good luck!
12Yea i actually have a sephora vip card when i spent a bomb there in Paris last fall. dang! haha maybe i shd email them.
13aaaaaahh so many goodies!!!
How can anybody doubt
the existence of Heaven? It's at Sephora!!!

17You pretty much are creating your own Sephora in your house!
Will have to try Benefit blush
soon.
18Awesome Haul!!! Luckyyy!!! LOL I need to go back to Sephora myself and replace a lipstick.
19Wow, I'm so jealous! Great products all around, hope you enjoy them!
20That must have been a super-great shopping experience! I do hope you enjoy all of your new colors!
21Great buys!
22Nice goodies!
23Whooo, looks like fun - at least for you, if not so much for your brother! He doesn't look very impressed by all the amazing beauty goodies all around him! You picked up some good stuff!
24
Nice haul! I really need to try out some Nars products and Benefit's blushers.
25WOW. you totally scored. i looooove NARS. i wanna go to hong kong!! what are the prices like?
26they seem cheap considering how USD$1 is equal to HKD$7 (rough estimate)... some of the items that I know are cheaper, their Adidas products, the branded stuff like LV, etc maybe cheaper. As for Beauty Products, I think Shu Uemura is def cheaper (as compared to US prices). The range of stuff they have there is amazing compared to other Asian cities, and the prices are more competitive (cost of living in Japan is more expensive). Well, this is just my personal preference. There are others who much prefer shopping in places like Bangkok, or Taipei or my own home country - Singapore.
27thanks for the information, retail therapy! i appreciate it. if i ever have enough money to actually travel, a trip to any of those places would be amazing.
