Post a CommentOoh, I use Dove Radiant Silk, too!! I LOVE that stuff. You have me wanting to try Fekkai's stuff SO bad.
fekkai is the only shampoo/conditioner i use now. my hairdresser sells redken and she wants me to use those products but they leave my hair too frizzy.
oh by the way jenn. i just did my first trade on MUA. i haven't gotten it yet but i shipped mine already.
LOL, my hubby is always buying me jewelry.
You should have heard me explaining to him the last
time he came home with earrings. Oh, this is lovely. You know what I love? Palettes. Do you know what those are? Yes, palettes. Ok, remember that. Palettes. Just find the nearest makeup
counter, and tell the lady Palettes. P-a-l-e-t-t-e-s. Palettes. Got that?
Probably not. Bless
his heart.
when my hubby buys me jewelry, i try to be nice but i hint around: you know i don't really wear alot of jewelry honey...i do love makeup and you could get me gift certificates if you aren't sure. i am so bad. one of these days he just will not get me anything because i am so picky.
Ha! Same here.
Poor guys. Really, I do cherish whatever he picks out. I just won't
necessarily wear it. And, I'm not counting that #5 he bought me that I traded on MUA.
i'll check that out. it must be kinda funny. my hubby, i swear, buys me a watch every year and it drives me insane. i tell him i don't wear watches but he says i should be wearing a watch so he keeps buying them. and goodness the last one he bought looked like a granny watch
i hate hurting his feelings but i am to the point now i cannot hide my disappointment.
LOL! You must be married to my Dad. He is the KING of watches. Mostly, he concentrates his powers on my brother these days. I get mostly perfume and makeup from him which I'm actually thrilled about.
you should still post your makeup bag blog. you only put a couple of products up in that one blog you did. i'd love to see your beauty regime.
Ok, twist my arm. I'm all over it!
oOoOoOo I use the softsoap with oatmeal and shea butter, leaves the skin so smooooooth!
I should try that Fekkai shampoo and conditioner. My hair is pretty straight, but if I use certain stuff it gets so frizzy. I always call it haystack hair. I have been using Artec Kiwi forever. Since Loreal bought them out I either have to buy it on Ebay, Ulta or HEB (a grocery store).
What is MUA? Why are you scared to touch the Nars palette?
makeupalley is MUA, lisa. jenn got me into that site www.makeupalley.com
it is a site where you can read product reviews before you buy and it also has a feature of swapping products with other people.
I will go check that out right now.
the best product for me to use to control frizz will and always will be the CHI silk infusion. i put it in (a dime size) after i towel dry my hair. it is also a really good to use as a finisher after you blow dry and straighten. to keep the fly aways at bay and to keep your hair silky. i use the fekkai curl cream just to give my curls definition. i scrunch away. but fekkai has alot of different types of shampoos/conditioners for different types of hair.
I just registered today
yippee
i am on there with my same screen name (audreystar). you will have to do a member
search and check me out.
woot woot! i'm on there as atoxicsparkle too
Since I am obviously a card carrying member of SUC and did not take the time to read the rules. How does that work? Who ever you swap with you have to give them something or money?
you put items you will swap on your page and if you see something on someone else's swap list (or vice versa) you send a message saying you would like to swap. if agreed you each swap the items. usually the protocol is also to send a few beauty product samples as well. after you swap you leave tokens which are essentially how you felt about the swap. jenn has actually swapped a few times. i just did my first one but haven't received my swap item just yet.
Hey Lisa - I'm scared to touch it because it's so pretty.
I'm a
dork. I think if I ever invest in one of Chantecaille's products (TNgirl got one of their butterfly shadows in her gift today), I would probably never ever touch it. But I sooooooooo want one.
:dork:
I thought it was because it was used
I am seriously eyeing that sugar scrub....does it help make you skin soft?
I want to see your hair Jenna
yeah it does. it is weird because unlike other body scrubs it exfoliates but also does this thing where it melts after a few mintues after you scrub and leaves your skin silky smooth. which is nice because you aren't constantly finding those little exfoliating thingamajigs on your skin after you think you have rinsed them off. that happened alot when i used the apricot scrub.
the creme brulee sugar scrub is supposed to be amazing too but i haven't gotten around to getting that yet. these suckers are pricey at 42 bucks a jar.
AS....you need to contact Laura Mercier ASAP! You should be writing ads for them
You have me sold!
Lisa...I will PM you the pic
i know as much money i have spent on her products in the last year she should be paying me back for pimpin' her stuff.
Oh thank you. I have never had curly hair so I don't about how much of a pain it is. I would love to have curly hair. I think though we always want what we don't have. I just get so sick of my hair being so flat. Not that I want big 80's hair to come back
She should send you some freebies in exchange, girl!!!! Seriously, you need to write reviews or something....
Lisa...if 80's hair came back...then my big poofy curly hair would fit in perfectly 8)
I'm a sucker for bath products too. My all time fave bath gel is Badedas, it's from Germany and I've been using it since I was 18... awesome stuff and the scent is dreamy. I rotate others but I always come back to my badedas ♥
MUA is also my go-to site every time I want to check out reviews about a new product.
