Hi!

I'm not sure if someone has already blogged about this product, so I'm just going to say something myself Smiling

Illuminating Tinted MoisturizerIlluminating Tinted Moisturizer

Laura Mercier's Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer is wonderful! It comes in three shades: Bare (light skin tones), Natural (light to medium skin tones) and Warm (medium with pink undertones) Radiance. I started using it the day it came into my nearest store. It makes my skin look very hydrated and glowy without looking oily at all! It just made the TM that much better! It contains small crushed pearls which create a generous amount of luminosity. Personally, I'm really pleased.

The way it works is that you mix it with her normal tinted moisturizer using the a 3:1 ratio, using less of the illuminating TM. I use the Natural Radiance. One thing to keep in mind is that this color darkens the entire look of the foundation, so I use two parts Nude TM, one part Fawn TM and one part Natural Radiance. Once you get the mix right, you can't go wrong!

The only downfall with this product is that it shows flaws. It gives such a glow that it highlights things that you may not want to have highlighted such as acne and scars. I use the Secret Camouflage to cover up the bumps and the rest looks smooth. Sometimes when I want more coverage I'll use a bit of the mineral makeup on top of the TM. This doesn't take away from the luminosity but it does tone down the ITM to the point where the bumps are hardly visible.

I highly recommend this for people with pretty nice skin to start with. Please ladies, do not be hard on yourselves and think that you can't use it because you get an occasional pimple or two. Also, like me, you may have to adjust the color you're currently using to another or do a mix to get the shade right. I have to admit that I am a real stickler for perfect skin tone matching which is why I'm using three different TMs.

As a side note, I want you ladies to know that I have not been on Sugar very much over the past couple of months. I have been having severe allergies which has caused my upper and lower eyelids to swell, get dry, itch and flake. I've been really upset about it because I love doing makeup blogs and my lids now have lines in them where I didn't have them before. The swelling hasn't completely gone away but I hope that will be fixed soon. My eyes make me look so much older now and I'm embarrassed to show my "new face" Embarassed

Have fun with Laura Mercier's new Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer! If you have any questions, please ask! Thanks!
