I've always been one of those people whose hair gets to a certain length and suddenly, I absolutely can't stand it and end up whacking off a couple inches the next time I go to the hair dresser. But, for whatever reason, this time, I've decided to let my hair grow long. And I love it!

However, with my long locks came two problems:

1. Finding the time to brush it and actually get out all the tangles and knots. (This is in part due to my lovely little kitten, Clyde, who likes to wake me up by yanking my hair with his paws. Not fun.)

2. Dealing with the inevitable breakage and the fact that I could pull out lots of long strands everytime I ran my hands through my hair.

Well, I find the solution to my problems: Garnier Fructis Length and Strength Shampoo and Conditioner.

Here's what Garnier says about this line of their products: Impossibly long locks aren't impossible with Garnier Fructis Length & Strength! Stronger hair grows even longer. It's the first anti-breakage system with Reinforced Active Fruit Concentrate - an innovative combination of vitamins B3 and B6, fructose and glucose. Specially created for hard-to-grow-long hair, this system reinforces hair, protecting it from breakage and split-ends. Hair is 5x stronger with 80% less breakage.* The result? Longer, stronger hair that goes the distance - from root to tip.

And what do I think?

Well, I've been using both products for almost two weeks and I'm absolutely in love with the changes that they've made in my hair. When I run my hands through my hair, I MIGHT have one strand or two come out in my fingers, not the usual mess of hair that was the standard for me just weeks ago.

My hair is soft, shiny, and silky and I've been getting compliments from people in the office, my husband, and even my mother! And, believe me, that one was the ringing endorsement for this product. My mother wouldn't comment unless she felt compelled to, but she was admired how good my hair looked just this past weekend.

The prices are reasonable - $3 - $4 a bottle and I, of course, bought mine with a coupon. I've already stocked up on more!

Some people might not like the frangrance, but it's typical of Garnier Fructis and its scents. I personally love the fruity, almost sugary smell that emanates from the bottles everytime I open them.

These products don't weigh my hair down like some that I've tried (Dove comes to mind) and it doesn't dry it out or make it increasingly oily as others sometimes do.

My hair is silky, soft, and happily growing!
