Challenge #2: Round-up Part I

Winty, is that Shi fragrance floral? or musky? how would you describe it? I'm still on the search for a new perfume... but I don't like overly sweet or floral... or pure citrus.... ughh I know I'm so picky!

What kind of scents do you usually go for Shi?

I like the spicy stuff, I adore almost all the Diors - except Miss Dior - I loved Ysatis (gyvenchi), Dolce Vita, J'Adore, Addict, Armani Mania, Moschino Couture!... my problem is that here in Florida is so hot all year long that I can't get away with those strong fragrances anymore The last one I got was Shalimar Light but it smells like baby powder... I still need my fix of spices but in a softer, more heat-friendly version... I am going to buy Chanel Chance in a cpl of weeks because I smelled it on somebody and I luuuuuurved it! but any other suggestions will be deeply appreciated!

Oh have you smelled the Armani Code yet? (I hope I spelled that right) It's a spicer scent (imo) and while I don't wear spicey scents, I really liked this one. (So does Audreystar, it's her favey right now). Or what about DNKY's new one...either the Red Apple or Green Apple...something like that. I thought for sure it was just going to smell like straight up apples, but on the tester card it smelled like a spicey apple.

I loved loved loved Fantasy until I had a bottle in my car and it got so hot while I was parked at class and it exploded!! So my smelled like 5939 thousand sweet tarts.

but I do love Burberry Brit.

Fantasy is my scent. I liked curious but it didnt go well with my natural scent. I also like in control its alright but nothing compares to fantasy lol I want to smell the new midnight fantasy just havent been able to do it yet. has any of yall?

curious actually smells better on me than fantasy does. but fantasty does smell yummy...like cupcakes

Shi, you could try Coco Mademoiselle, its musky and spicy, I've bookmarked it and LOVE it or I've also bought Fresh brand's "Cannabis Santal". It's more of an everyday musky spicy scent that's great and is very similar to the Coco. I got it at Sephora.

And once again, great post, atox! It looks beautiful and its really great to see all the varieties!

red, I mix Fresh's Cannabis Santal and their Pink Jasmine... I love the combo. That is my day-time scent!

jg, are you serious! That's so funny! I didn't think of it as very well known yet because it just came out. I should try mixing it because it's a little strong for me to wear more than one squirt.

My favorites are Anais Anais, JLoGlow, Amber Romance from Victoria's Secret, Tommygirl and a few others.

I guess I just have to forget it's BS and try her perfume. Especially if Fantasy smells like sweettarts.

Winty it's true that I might not like the floral notes but maybe the musky drydown might work, thank you so much, I love to try new scents and I'm excited!!

I'm dying to try Thierry Mugler's new perfume called Alien. I hate the name, though. My Mom said it was great. In fact, the perfume I picked for this challenge is Angel by Thierry Mugler. It is def. one of my favorites. Also, Thierry Mugler for men is wonderful.
