I hope everyone is having (or has had) a great Wednesday!

I wanted to share with you a look for nails that I love and always get a lot of compliments on. It looks really hard, but it's actually really easy, you just have to take your time.

Without flash:

I used OPI's Nail Envy as a basecoat and yesterday I placed two coats of Bourjois So Laque! in Dangereusement Rouge no. 16 on top of the basecoat. I let that dry for a half a day (to make sure I didn't crease it during the night) and this morning I added a layer of Essence African Queen nail polish (which is a brown with a hint of gold glimmer in it). The African Queen is very see through and I wanted a little redness to warm up the brown so layering creates my perfect colour.

I then took some scotch tape (the white kind you can write on) and took a piece of about 5 cm long and cut that into two equal triangles... and then took those triangles in half again creating 4 thin pointy triangles out of each piece. I then placed 4 pieces on my nails working in a circle keeping the points together in a "corner" and making the untaped pieces about the same size.
I then used OPI Nail Lacquer in Curry Up Don't Be Late! from the India Collection all over the nails and the tape. Then I took off the tape and these nails came out.

I'll add a topcoat tomorrow, I'm off to bed soon and I don't want to smudge it.

I hope you guys like it!
