I finally got around to organizing and cleaning out all of my makeup, so I decided to take some pictures and share them with you guys. I apologize in advance for the poor picture quality, I didn't have the best lighting.

I just bought the green glass that holds my brushes today at Anthropologie. I hope it will keep them much cleaner than letting them sit on the counter.

Bare Minerals is the only foundation I will use, and I love their 'Mineral Veil' too. The purple stick is Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer in CIA, which I love, and the black stick is Boots No. 7 radiant glow concealer, which I also love.

All of my blushes and bronzers.

From the left: NARS Deepthroat, Discontinued Benefit color, Lola Cosmetics Geisha Glow

Smashbox (not sure of the color name, but I got this full size blush totally free! Score), Chanel 'Reflex', Benefit 'Georgia'

Smashbox O Glow ( I hate this stuff, I'm not sure why I haven't gotten rid of it yet), Almay Glow Healthy in Light (the only brozer that doesn't make my pale skin look orange!), and Cover Girl cheekers in 'Pretty Peach'

I know what you're thinking. You're thinking "She has too many mascaras, those can't all possibly still be within the 3 month window", and you're right. Some of them are much, much older, but I still use them. It'll come back to bit me some day with a wicked eye infection, but I can't bring myself to throw them away.
From the left: L'Oreal Lash Out Curled, Maybelline Lash Stiletto, CoverGirl Lash Blast, L'Oreal HIP Ultimate Collagen, Boujouis Volume Glamour, Shu Umera Fiber Xtension, Neutrogena Weightless Volume, and finally Sherani Protein Mascara

Starting with Lipstick Queen Oxymoron in 'Minor Crisis', then Schweppes orange balm (do not reccomend this, it's hard and not very moisturizing), Korres Pomegranate Lip Butter (love), Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush lip balm, L'Oreal HIP Jelly Balm in 'Delectable' (I really love this stuff, it give plenty of color but is really moisturizing and smells awesome, like cream soda), Aquaphor Healing Ointment, and MAC Tinted Lip conditioner in 'Miss Bunny' in the center (this was a limited edition a few years ago, too cute not to buy, but I think they still have similar products).

Bare Escentuals Buxom lips in 'Melonie', Benefit Her Glossiness in 'Next Question Please' (discontinued), I have no idea what that brownish gloss is or where it came from (just being honest), Benfit The Gloss in corsage (my favorite lip gloss of all time, recently discontinued, I ordered four to keep on reserve), Benefit The Gloss in Kiss Me and No Peeking (also discontinued), Bobbi Brown lip gloss in Tangerine, Lola Cosmetics lip gloss in Ballet Slippers, then two Smashbox samples in Pixel and Catwalk

Estdee Lauder Color Fevershine in 'Tempt Me' (Came as a GWP, but I love it), four Mary Kay lipsticks so beat up I can't even read the names anymore, ditto with the NYC lipstick, then Benefit Silky Finish lipstick in 'Skinny Dip' (a really great color and texture, I recommend this line), and finally CoverGirl lipslicks in 'Daring'

All of my nicer eyeshadows (I have a bunch of older drugstore shadows that don't get much TLC from me, so I'm not going to post them)

I bought these Smashbox eyeshadows in a box set a few months ago (I think it was called 'Rapture' or something similar), and I really love them all, but there are too many to name individually!

The Hard Candy eyeshadows (which I think are sadly now discontinued) are Peppermint Patty, Caramel, and Cotton Candy. The Urban Decay shade at the top is Maui Wowie (which is my favorite shadow color), beneath that is Smashbox 'Flirt', followed by Stila special edition 'Acapulco'.

GWP Estdee Lauder shadow palette. I love using the darker shades as eyeliner.

Bourjois Kohl and Countour in 'Bronze Imaginaire', CiCi 'Beige', Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils in Yeyo (how appropriate), 1999, Zero, Bourbon, and Stash (my favorite eyeliner ever), Arbonne Eye Pencil in 'Envy', L'Oreal Voluminous eyeliner in 'Black' (this one has a tip like a marker). The pot at the top is MAC fluidline and I'm not sure of the name, but it's something like 'Forest', and you can't tell from this picture but it's very dark green.

Other miscellanous eye/brow products. Benefit Speed Brow (which I use when I want to darken my brows to look more dramatic), Benefit Eye Bright (which I love on the inside corner of my eye), cult favorite Urban Decay Primer Potion (I honestly don't get the fuss, I can't get it to do anything right for me), Benefit shimmer cream in 'It was the Perfect Alibi' (discontinued), and Maybelline Great Lash in clear, which is absolutely necessary for my eyebrows.

The inside of the Benefit highlighting cream.

i love your stash!! i want to put up pics soon too...
1Pharm, do it! I love seeing pictures of people's makeup.
2I love your lip balms, they all look so cool. I'm pretty bad about mascaras too Mich. I have a hard time throwing something away that still works and doesn't smell or look bad, even though I know it is. Anyways, I swear when I get off my lazy bum I will take detailed photos as well
.
3LOVE IT!! It reminds me I need to do a clean out soon, too!
4Mich you have a really nice set up...with the desk and the window and the shelving...I WISH I had something like that but my situation isn't set up for that just yet. Hopefully when I move next year I'll really be able to spread out.
Great stash too!
5Jessie, I'm looking forward to your detailed pictures. I'm going to post pictures of my million and one bottles of nail polish as soon as I do some color-sorting.
Blue, thanks! When we found our new house the closets in the master were pretty small, but I knew the extra bedroom with those great built-ins would be really fun to set up as a dressing room. Who knew I'd still be organizing a year later?
6Oh that sounds really nice! I imagine the house I share with my BF eventual hubby will have to have a few spare bedrooms, one for my dressing room and one for his man cave.
7I'm jealous that you have that Smashbox kit! That had some great colors.
8If I posted pics of my make-up, ya'll would just laugh. I'm so defunct and uneducated when it comes to make-up!
9I am motivated to clean mine out and post pics. I work part time at Sephora, so I get a ton of free stuff, half of which I don't use all that much. So, needless to say, I have a lot.
10Kim, I would
to see your stash!
And Star, I bet that is not true at all! Besides, if you post, then we can inundate you with suggestions!
11Martini, I will make it my goal to get everything cleaned out and organized this week so I can post some pictures by next weekend!
12I can't wait, Kim!
13Lilkimbo, I bought the Smashbox kit with a gift certificate, otherwise it would have been way too expensive, but I'm really loving it so far. I defenitely would like to see the stash of a Sephora employee. I think I'd have to rent a storage space if I worked there.
Star, I wouldn't laugh, I'd probably just envy your ability to not waste all your money on makeup. And then, like Martini said, we'd have a million suggestions.
14I would probably have more make-up if I had a Sephora that was within an hour drive, but I don't. I may take pics this weekend so ya'll can critique!
15lilkim and star...I would love to see your stash too!
I'm gonna clean out my train case and see if I can get some pictures of my stash as well.
16Well dang you girls put me to shame. I only have mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow and lipgloss.

17Life is short. Enjoy it while you can.
Ok, Myst - how many of each?
18Spoken like a true junkie Martini!
19Umm.. I have about 3 lipgloss from Victoria Secret and 1 from Mac. 1 eyeliner and mascara from Mac, and 2 eye shadow case from Mac as well and that's it. It's sad I know.

oh I also have a blush that I hijacked from my cousin a few months ago. And that's it. But I do have tons of body butter creams from Victoria Secret and Giovannia Organic Cosmetic do they count?

Ok, Myst....we need to make a trip to Sephora for you girl!
I am kidding, you are so naturally pretty, you don't need all the "extra" stuff I need to look presentable!
So what colors??
22Myst, I was going to say exactly what Martini said. Some girls are just too pretty already so they don't even have to think about all that makeup. Although I honestly don't use most of my stuff very often, eyeshadow is a nighttime only thing for me.
23lol Martini. I do need to go to Sephora. I need to stack up on some Carol Daughter's products. But I'm so clueless when it comes to makeup to I just stick to the basics.
The lipgloss, I have 2 pink tinged and 1 brown. The eye shadows, here's one
The other one is a mix colored ones that it's more earth tones. Like the one Mich posted.

Oh, your nails are so cute!
And sticking to basics is good - I have been thinking recently that I should pare my whole routine and collection down!
25I after going through CCee's posts, I've really been getting into nail polishes and have being playing with some colors.
oh here's a better picture of the eye shadow. It's my favorite so far.

Myst don't feel bad. I'm pretty much the same way... basics. I do have a love for eyeshadow though. (Even though I just do basic looks!) Everything else is a mystery for me.
27I am completely inept at putting nail polish on myself! Seriously, it is frightening when I try it!
I tried to get hubby to learn, but he is having none of it!
I like those shadows, too, Myst! You should post a photo of it on you - are you wearing it today??
28Martini, I suck at doing my nails to. This is courtesy of my favorite nail salon. And you're in luck. Today is one of rare days I actually wear make up to work.
and Yay Star (don't know how to do the hug emoticon).. when I saw the list on the other post, my eyes literally bugged out on the amount of things people listed.

You look gorgeous, Myst! You don't need to use a lot of products...that shadow looks great on you!
30Yes Myst, you are indeed a natural beauty.
I have to at least put on foundation and mascara. I have to cover up my acne scars. My eyelashes are non-existent unless I put on mascara (especially wearing glasses!). My sister got the eyelash genes in our family... mascara isn't a necessity for her.
31Thanks ladies, you're guys are too nice. Star do you have light colored lashes? One of my friends is a true blonde and have blonde lashes and she really do look like she doesn't have any when she's not wearing mascara. And my brother and my cousins Richard have has a the eyelash genes in my family. It's not fair that guys lashes can grow so long while women pay an arm and a leg to give the illusion of long lashes.

They are dark... they just don't show up very well. And yes, it's not fair when guys get the gorgeous lashes... I have a coworker who's son has to-die-for lashes.
33i like your vanity table area, so pretty!
34Thank you, Retail! My favorite thing is the big wooden jewelry box my dad made for me.
35Great collection and the jewelry box is pretty.
