After seeing so many stash photos lately, I've been unable to resist the temptation to post my own. This is (embarrassingly) not all of it, just what I've brought with me to university (the rest is back home in the States). It's just makeup, because my skin & hair stuff is pretty bland.

2Sweet stash.
Do you like the Pop products? They look so cool!

You're a girl, you're allowed! What do you think of VS makeup in
general? I had a few things from them, but the powder stuff always disappointed me. I swear the stuff they have in the store to try is a different formula.
4Wow! I noticed your Cargo stuff, very pretty and nice. And I also can see you like neutral/nude colors for your eyes and the pinks on your lips.
It is so interesting how we compare our stash and see what are the stuff we like and just can't stop getting enough of!
Thanks for sharing. Awesome!
5@ em1282 - I do like Pop quite a bit; I'm more a fan of their palettes than anything else. I like the Conceal & Correct powder, but it doesn't do either - it just makes a nice finishing powder with a teensy bit of mineral shimmer. The lip smoothie stuff is... underwhelming, I'm afraid. It's a smooth, non-sticky formula, but it doesn't offer much color and I'm not fond of the smell.
@ romaniagrl - VS makeup is unfortunately really hit-and-miss. The shadow singles are quite nice; Champagne is a fantastic color. The shadow palettes seem to lack pigment. Like, they come out different colors than they look - especially Eye Contact. The eye pencil is decent, and I like the Gilded pencil quite a lot. The blushes are nice - Afterglow used to be my daily one until I picked up BB Desert Rose, and I still use Love Life for going out; they're nicely shimmery and don't go on too dark. In general though, VS do much MUCH better lip stuff. Their glosses and lipsticks are staples in my rotation. And the "Addictive" palette is SO amazing. Every color is perfect.
6That is a LOT of stuff but I am sure it was so much fun buying it!!
7"just what I've brought with me to university"
8Are you kidding me? You can almost open a shop with all of that make up! Imagine with the rest of your make up..
DAM*, I knew your collection was huge. Very impressive.
9ahhhhhh! i get so excited when i see everyone's "stashes." i should put mine up...i just don't want to face all the crap i've got. and then i have to put it all back too.
aaaaaaaaaaaanyway, i love all the urban decay shadows you have! they're my favorite. i would probably kill someone if they hurt my midnight cowboy rides again. it's so sparkly and lovely! i can't be sad wearing that stuff!
10also, where do you go to university? i'm assuming outside of the US....
11Holy wow, I am blown away by this collection!
12Thanks Baila!
13It was indeed WAY too fun buying it all! There's nothing more exciting than a good trip to Sephora!
I go to school in England (which is why I've acquired some British brands - Boots No. 7 and Jemma Kidd mainly), and I'm embarrassed to admit that my stash at home is even bigger. Though it's mostly cheaper stuff, and more varied in color - my friends and I use it when we have girls' nights in and just play with makeup.
But really... this is some sort of disease, I swear!
14Very impressive stash indeed! It really is fun to see everyone's products they use. Thanks for sharing.
I also agree, it is a disease but there are worse things to be addicted too! - That's the line I use on the hubby when I "have" to have the newest color collections
15Great collection! We have some of the same stuff.
I am really wanting to try Pop
Beauty eye palettes and their eye cakes. I am trying to be wiser about buying palettes and ONLY taking that palette when I travel-I am traveling with way too much. Its so hard! I totally
understand about the disease comment-I can't stop! Scully made a good comment-there are worse things to be addicted to!
16I agree there is nothing better then a trip to Sephora! I can hardly ever walk out of there without making a purchase. I'm really liking the VS lipglosses I have strawberry fizz as well. I love seeing everyone's makeup collection its so fun and gives you some ideas for future purchases! What do you think about the smashbox palette? I was thinking about buying the try me set from sephora but I've heard bad reviews about the other products in the set.
17wow! that's really cool, bailaoragaditana. i have family living in England. the kids are around my age - one is 27 and the other is 23. they both went to oxford and studied classics. i visited them in london once. i'm trying to go back this spring or summer! lucky you getting the opportunity to live there!! although it must be very cold having to spend your winter there. of course, maybe it's cold where you're from. i'm from orange county (CA) so i'm not sure i would survive an entire winter in england!
18So much Urban Decay. Nice!
19@ manay - I'm not a big fan of Smashbox, to be honest. I don't like their face products - I've never understood the obsession with Photo Finish primers, for one. They just turn to grit on my face, and that's before I even get to the stage of putting foundation or concealer on top of them. The eyeliner palette is alright, I got it mainly because it has lots of colors and I didn't want to buy large quantities of colors I'm not likely to use often. The formula isn't as long-wearing or smudge-proof as Bobbi Brown or MAC Fluidline, I'm afraid, but it's decent if you don't rely on it as an everyday thing. Smashbox shadows are pretty good, as are their glosses, and they do some nice brushes. Other than that... ehh. Not my favorite brand by far. For about the same price you could get much better products.
@ Jasi - It's ridiculously cold here, definitely - and winter lasts longer than where I'm from (DC). I don't know why I chose England, of all places! Also, classics at Oxford is wayyy hardcore! Very impressive - moreso that they would both read classics! I myself study Spanish and Linguistics at Oxford, but the stress levels of a linguist tend to be considerably lower than those of a classicist! (Something about a year abroad, I think
)
