Sometimes, the free stuff you get with beauty purchases is just a burden, but some freebies are too good to pass up. Thanks to eBeautyDaily for pointing me to the Summer beauty deal going on at Nordstrom from now through the first week of June.
With any online beauty or fragrance purchase of $95 or more, you get a very cute straw tote filled with an exorbitant number of great samples from brands like Clarins, Bare Escentuals, and Origins. I am a freak about samples, and these look especially good. Plus, it provides an excuse to spend $95 at Nordstrom. If you need to replenish your fragrance supply, this would be a good time. I love me some Benefit High Beam, and Spring is the season for highlighters. So thank you, SheFinds, for telling me about this great offer at Benefit Cosmetics!
Right now, the site is offering a free bottle of its beloved High Beam pink highlighter with any purchase of $30 or more — and you know I won't have any problem spending $30 at Benefit. To redeem the free gift, simply enter the promo code "HIGHBEAM" when you check out. I'm not sure how long the promotion lasts, though, so you might want to pounce now.
Last week, I told you about the U.K. brand Boots coming to Target, so it seems fitting that our first-ever user review on BellaSugar is a Boots product. TeamSugar user Michelin posted this review of the Boots No7 Radiant Glow Concealer ($12.99) in the Beauty Product Junkies group this week, and I liked it so much I just had to share it with you guys. (Write your own reviews in the group, and I might post yours on BellaSugar too!) Here's what Michelin had to say:
I'm only 18, but I have dark undereye circles. (Thanks Mom!) I like more natural-looking makeup, so I've gone through a million different concealers trying to find one that covers well without looking too heavy. For a long time I was lusting after Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat, but at $38.50, it was a little out of my price range for a concealer. When Target got in the new Boots line, I was so excited to try this that I went out and bought it right away.

One of my favorite beauty blogs on the Web is actually right here on TeamSugar: Created by our very own Atoxicsparkle, it's called Beauty Product Junkies, and it has more than 1,700 members. If you're a fellow junkie, you should definitely check out BPJ: This is an incredibly active group where users post everything from product reviews to Beauty Marks to instructions on how to achieve different looks. There are also weekly Beauty Challenges, where users Beauty Mark their favorite products.
I'll be featuring the results of those challenges on BellaSugar, along with other occasional BPJ content. So, if you're a Beauty Product Junkies member, don't be surprised if you get a message from me asking to feature one of your posts on BellaSugar. (You can always say "no thanks.")
I love reading Beauty Product Junkies just for fun, but Atoxicsparkle and the other members have also been a huge help as I was gearing up to launch BellaSugar. So thanks, guys! Anyway, if you aren't familiar with this group, be sure to check it out.
Clinique has done it again. They were the first department store beauty brand I ever bought, their products are gentle on the skin and they constantly reinvent themselves. So they're not the edgiest brand in town - what I love about them is that what they make is built to last. If you take inventory over the years, I'll bet every one's got a Clinique product on their top ten list; mine is their Almost Lipstick in Black Honey.
Their latest launch is a collection for Spring called Fresh Bloom. I am sure you've seen the beautiful images of their sweet floral Fresh Bloom All Over Color $29.50, blush and highlighter compact inside all of your favorite glossy mags.
This is just part of the collection but from what jennifer76 has reported in the Beauty Product Junkies group, it's already become a hot commodity. Oh and I thought it came in just one shade, but it actually comes in peach, pink, plum and almond variations! I have yet to try it, but I can't wait. Other products from this line include: an eye shadow trio, happy in bloom perfume, glossy mascara, eye liner pencils, butter shine lipsticks, lip plumpers and a powder brush.
Everything is currently available online and at Clinique counters nationwide. Click here to join the Beauty Product Junkies group on TeamSugar!
As you all may have noticed, Saturday was the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. We think that Jamie Lynn Spears looked like a shining star.
Her dress was bright, fun and age appropriate. Her gold jewelry and accessories hit the mark, and her hair and makeup were impeccable.
I hate to say it, but it looks like struggling big sis Britney should try taking some pointers from her classy lil' sister. WhiplashGirlchild agrees - and check out her frugal outfit breakdown of this amazing ensemble!

You don't have to travel far (or spend much) to find an innovative and perfect-for-Summer foundation. Just head to your local drugstore to pick up L'Oréal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation SPF 18 ($11). This bottle of seemingly ordinary foundation quickly smooths down to a silky, powder-like finish. It buffs away imperfections and evens out your skin tone for an airbrushed, "no makeup" makeup look. The airy quality gives it a lightweight feel, and since it dries down matte, it's an ideal choice for a hot and humid Summer.
Slimming down takes time and dedication, but a few quick tricks can help you feel a little bit lighter in just one day. Read on to get our tips for feeling less bloated and puffy — and having a flatter belly — by the end of today!
