I wanted this so much when it first came out, but it was $38!?!? I've never used any of Fresh's products before, and wasn't going to sink that on a teeny palette. It STILL is $38 here, at Drugstore.com.
I picked this up last weekend for $9.50 at Bath & Body Works.
They had a shizzload of them, so yours may still have it too. I'm pretty sure their sale goes through the 7th. They don't seem to have this on their web site, though.
I wasn't sure if the colors came through that well on my pics, so I put up Drugstore.com's picture for good measure.
Ha HA! Reading the Drugstore.com description, I discover that the pan on the left is not an eyeshadow like I thought it was.
Tee hee. That's what *I'm* using it as today.
Satin Luster in Premier Rose imparts sheer radiance to the complexion. Satin Luster is enriched with softening evening primrose seed oil and nourishing meadowfoam seed oil.
Well, I'll have to try it that way another time.
It's great as an eyeshadow, though.
It felt a little dry in the pan, but it goes onto your finger and then your skin very nicely!
Blush Cream in Portrait of a Lady invokes innocence, beauty and surprise. It is enriched with hydrating floral extracts of chamomile, calendula and rose.
Well, shizz. At least I got this one right. This is a very pretty, peachy blush. It's the first time I've used a cream blush, and I was a leetle nervous. But it spread very easily and left a very nice but subtle color on my cheek.
Gloss Absolute in Desire creates extra shiny, plump and sensual lips. An advanced lip plumping technology fills in lines for luscious and healthy looking lips. The formula is enhanced with antioxidant rich pomegranate extract, soothing vitamin E, and flavored with vibrant citrus.
Well, I had no idea this was a plumping gloss.
Ha ha. I was going to write that it felt a little different than a normal gloss, kind of like it was seeping into my lips.
I see that was the plumping going on. Who knew? Clearly, it doesn't make a remarkable difference in size. But, the color is very pretty. Kind of cranberryish and very sheer.
I tried to take pics of the look, but the flash is obscuring the color. This is a VERY fresh face, very subtle palette. I really, really like it. I wouldn't - and didn't - pay $38 for it. But, for $9.50, I LOVE it!!

Lola Rose
Looks like pretty colors.
1The middle color would be hideous on me, but I love the one on the left. There's nothing wrong with using blush for an eyeshadow. I've been known to do it.
2I don't think it's a blush, though, sticky. I think it's supposed to be a highlighter. Oh well, I like it as an eyeshadow.
3This is beautiful!
4Beautiful colors! I can't imagine them getting $40 buck for that, though. I love me some makeup, but that is crazy! I had no idea you could get Fresh at BBW!
5Me neither, clique!! I'm not sure if it was JUST because BBW did their Memoirs of a Geisha line so they pulled Fresh's palette in as a one time thing? I dunno.
6I didn't see any makeup at our B&BW the other night...just some teeny bopper lip glosses - very glittery and in kiddie cases oh and nail polish but I have enough of that.
I did stock up on soaps, candles, & lotions though. Mmm...
7Very, very pretty, but I fear with my light complexion these colors may make me look like a harlot or a clown...
8Some BBW sell makeup and some don't. The one in the mall near me sells beautiful makeup, as well as some really cool lines of haircare products, skincare, etc. But then there's anotehr BBW even closer to me that just sells the familiar BBW product line.
9It sucks ours don't - the only places to get makeup around here are Merle Norman, K-mart, wal-mart, the BX, walgreens, and rite aid. A lot of choices there! lol McRae's (well, Belk now) has a Clinique (thank goodness!) and Lancome counter that sells a few of their products. That's it though. I haven't been since they changed over to Belk, so maybe that's gone now too?
10Maybe I should open a make-up store here? Sell the products that you girls recommend - lol
11Winnie, I bet that would go like gangbusters!
12Your BX doesn't have a Clinique counter, Wynter? That sucks! Our PX has Clinique and Lancome and they sell everything at 15% off retail.
The BX and NEX in Hawaii even have Elizabeth Arden and some other counters too, I think.
You should!! LOL Wynter. How fun would that be?
13No, it's tiny! The only counter in our BX is a jewelry counter. They sell Revlon & Estelle Lauder...the rest is perfume/cologne.
14I said Clinique and Lancome when I meant Clinique and Estee Lauder.
I WISH they had a
Lancome counter.
Well that sucks, Wynter.
15none of those are really my type, they r pretty tho
:D
16Man, I was in a PX or BX (whichever one is Marines) in NC one time, and it was amazing! So much to buy! And cheap!
17Yah, a good exchange is an incredible thing. I've been in some caRAPPY ones though, too. Ft. Meyers in DC -
18The only one I've been in was at Camp Lejeune (sp?) with my friend who was, at the time, married to a Marine.
I smoked like a chimney at the time
and couldn't believe how cheap cartons of
cigarettes were. I think I brought four cartons back home with me.
19I know, my mom and brother cleaned up at the commissary when they were here.
20Our (biggest) Belks carries MAC, Kiehls, Chanel, Lancome, Estee, Fashion Fair, Clinique, Elizabeth Arden(I think) and a few more...Haven't looked at the smaller ones, we have 3.
Maybe yours will carry at least some of these lines, Wynter! If not, there is always Sephora and beauty.com!
21You are SO lucky, Clique!! Ours doesn't have Kiehls or Chanel and OH HOW I WISH IT HAD CHANEL.
22I never heard of Belks - is that just in the south?
I hardly ever buy cosmetics in department stores anymore, although sometime I stop by the Shiseido counter at Macy's. But with Mac and Sephora right next to each other in the mall (and the internet at my fingertips), my department store cosmetics purchasing is slipping.
23Very nice, J! I think all the colors are so pretty.
24Whip - I had never heard of it either before we moved out here. Stop tormenting me with your MAC and Sephora stores, you devil woman!
25Yeah, online shopping is a godsend!
26Belks is like our Elder Beermans in Ohio, though I think Belks is a much better store!! I go every time I get down south.
27Dang! $38 for that! Whew! But that is awesome that you got it so cheap!
Glad you like
it, I bet those colors look awesome on your skin tone!
28Pretty colors. Yeah I agree worth $9.50, not worth $38. I live in the south and I have never heard of Belks.
29Maybe it is a Southeast thing? I know we have them here in Georgia and they have them in Tennessee.
30Lisa, it used to be our McRae's - do you have those? I think they just changed the name from the advertisements, but I haven't had a reason to go there yet.
31Don't have that store either. I am assuming it is a department store like Dillards.
32It is, Lisa.
33very nice. don't agree with the original price at all but 9.50 is MUCH better.
34love the colors, but they are not for my skin tone
35Wow, the packaging is gorgeous! I love the red lip gloss!
