Chanel Blue Satin (461) Nail Polish -- $19
Chanel's Blue Satin nail polish is becoming a must have. It is featured in InStyle's Feb. 2008 issue; also it is sold out at the Chanel web site and as of January 15th, sold out at Neiman's online. Although, it is available at Nordstrom. I have my own bottle arriving soon, so I will post photos and a review. Until then here is a (far away) photo from Chanel's spring runway show (sorry it isn't the best!)

2Veronicaraye - I also love Russian Navy; OPI is a lovely brand. However I guess I can add nail polish as one of my beauty addictions (along with perfume and lip gloss; mascara is also coming close,lol.)
3you know loreal has a color out that is pretty much the same. when its on your nails no one will be able to identify the brand anyway
4I simply cannot shell out $19 for a bottle of nail polish. Chanel or not, I refuse!

That's too much for nail polish, sorry... and I go for lighter colors to make my nails look longer - this just isn't for me

9That's a gorgeous color. I like Russian Navy from OPI but that Chanel is a bit brighter so I'd consider getting it. Although I have about 50 bottles of polish already...

10Ooh that's so pretty! Every time Chanel comes out with a "must have" color, the other companies scramble to match it. But, there's *always* something about Chanel's original that is just a little special. Nobody ever seems to match it exactly. So, I can see why a nail polish junkie would want to shell out the dough for the real thing.

14Not for me either.
15I won't follow this trend. I tried wearing dark blue and purple in the past and my hands look like I banged all my nails in a drawer. Not a good look for me.

20I still like the Silver from the 07 Chanel Spring collection. I still use it time to time.
My current fave is the OPI My private jet, a gunmetal, shimmery color. very very nice!!

27I know the dark blues will be gone soon, but as long as it is still winter in DC I am loving them. I just got OPI Yoga-ta Get This Blue and I am so glad I listened to the name!
