ChapStick has released two new lip balms; I decided to try the "Lip Butter" (the other being "Botanical Medley.) I've never been a fan of ChapStick since I always felt their products weren't easy to smooth on. Well that opinion has completely changed! Lip Butter glides on instantly, no pulling or waxy feeling. The label says it has fives types of natural butters (mango, shea, avocado, olive and raspberry.) I'm not sure how natural this really is however I love it so much I don't really care, lol. I still love my Burt's Bees Balm however I always reach for the Lip Butter now. In the cold winter weather I usually have chapped lips by now; well not this year! This balm is very moisturizing yet not over moisturizing to the point of it feeling like grease. For $2.99 at Drugstore.com, I will now have one in my purse at all times.

I am a lip balm addict! I have one in my purse, one in my pocket, one by the tv, one by the computer, one by my bedside. Often a spare in my bag I take to work - oh, and don't forget the 3 or 4 spares I keep just in case I lose/forget one!! I usually use either Burt's Bees or Blistik's Mint - I will try this one! Thanks!!
1I love lip balm too. I will have to try that one.
2Lip balm is my must have thing! I just can't without them
3Thanks for sharing this
Maybe I'll try it! I love my Burts Bees too, but this sounds nice.
4Thanks for sharing! I love Rosebud Salve - it's my favorite - but it's nice to have options. I'll give this one a try!

6cool! I love blistex silk and shine!
7ChapSticks are my favorites! keep lips so soft!
8have to try that
9but if someone will give it to me as a gift for xmas
that would be much better..LOL
I have this. It doesn't really work that well for me. I prefer good ol carmex with the medicated tingle. The packaging on the chapstick though is really nice.
10Sometimes theres nothing like a little chapstick.
11This one sounds delightful, Thanks!
I have this too, it's okay, I prefer my Rosebud Salve, seems to soften my lips more, I usually use it at bedtime.

12I'll have to try it. My entire body is dry as dust right now. I agree about the waxiness or regular Chapstick. I also like Burt's Bees and Rosebud Salve and good ol' Carmex.
13ohh i love it
14I love Burt's Bees Pomegranite lipbalm. However, I picked up this new ChapStick too, and I must say I don't agree at all!
15Just to show that every person's skin is different... I thought all it felt was greasy. To me, it just sits slimy on my lips for a bit and doesn't feel moisturizing at all.
Not trying to rain on the parade, just saying everyone is different.
great review leeluvfashion !
16I always have some sort of lip balm handy, and I'm really picky about them because I use them as bases for my lipsticks... gotta have the right one so that the lipstick stays on! I will definitely check this out
17I just got this and I'm pretty disappointed... I had been wanting it for a while and it seems like it would be really moisturizing with the avocado and everything, but it isn't. It makes my lips even more chapped after it wears off. For me, this is the case with anything that has shea butter in it. Lots of lip glosses that I try don't dry out my lips, but they annoy me because my hair always sticks to my lips when I use them! If anyone finds a lip balm that doesn't dry out your lips and doesn't stick to your hair, let me know!
18great review! I think I'm definitely going to pick some up!
