2Benefit facial primer, Laura Mercier moisturizing foundation, Purpose facial wash (gentle, effective), Christian Dior lipshade in 'Downtown Brown', Crest whitening strips, paddle brush. There is more, but WOW! I think these are my true staples.
3There are a lot of things I use regularly, but my absolute staples are MUFE foundation, bronzer, mascara, concealer, primer, etc., Cetaphil face wash, Kinerase Under Eye Rescue, No Frizz straightening balm, and Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment.
4Baking soda, apple cider vinegar, witch hazel, mascara, Carmex, Purell, and a t-shirt so I can 'plop' my hair.
5"'plop' my hair" ??????????????
6sam - it does wonders for people with curly hair:

I have curly/wavy hair - i never knew doing this had a name.
8wow I didn't know people were using the t-shirt method on here too. I found out about one of my websites for curly headed girls. It's freaking awesome.
Star have you tried sleeping on satin pillow cases. It's does wonders, especially for the time I straighten my hair
9Lilkim are you talking about Living Proof No Frizz stuff? I'm obsessed with the straightening balm.
My hair is slightly wavy, and it makes my hair completely straight..even without a straightener. I'm curious to see what the curling balm will do to my hair too.
10Yes, sarah, I am! And it is amazing.
Like you, I have wavy hair and have yet to try to curling balm. If you try it, let me know if you like it!
I also want the shampoo and conditioner (or I at least want to try them).
11Myst - I haven't tried the pillow case. I wear my hair curly more than straight, but I'll have to try it.
12I got deluxe samples of the shampoo and conditioner that I'm waiting for an opportunity (other than regular boring days) to try it out.
13Yeah, I have regular sized sample packets somewhere, but I'm not even sure where they are right now.
14I had a sample of the hair spray. Can't say I was that excited by it...
15Was it the straightening spray or the curling one?
16Straightening.
17Interesting. I haven't heard as much about the sprays. When I'm working (at Sephora) unless someone's hair is really thin, I usually just tell them to go with the medium to think cream instead of the spray because I kind of wondered about the effectiveness of the spray.
18I feel you about wearing your hair straight star, normally I do it only for trims since I don't like using too much heat on my hair but I found this awesome flat iron here that's does the job with really low heat when used with straightening balms and heat protectant. I love it
19The spray just left my hair feeling sticky. I haven't tried any straightening balms. I won the Kerstase leave in straightening cream in a Bella giveaway.... LOVE IT. Too bad it's like 60 a bottle.
20Star try Giovanni Hair Straightening Elixir. I have type 3b curls and I found that it works great for my hair
21Oh, I'll have to try that. I'm a 3b too.
22it's they're an organic based company so you don't have to worry about any harsh chemicals in your hair
23That's good. I quit using shampoo and all that a long time ago because of that. Switching to BS/ACV was the best decision.
24you and me both. The only "shampoos" that are I use are the sulfate free, paraban free, alcohol, and fragrance free ones and must be organic-based, and that's to clarify followed by my bs/acv rinse. In between those I co-wash every 3 or so days.
25Yeah, I still use shampoo, but only sulfate free. It's made a big difference.
26I tried the whole apple cider vinegar route, but the smell of it made me nauseous, so I figured sulfate-free shampoo was the next best thing.
27I've heard the L'Oreal new sulfate-free line is good. Has anyone tried that?
28kim I put either lemongrass or peppermint oil in my ACV rinse, to help with the smell. Or wash your hair with conditioners after the rinse, also helps.
29Part of the issue is that I can't stand the smell while I'm actually using it, so I don't know if using conditioner after would make a huge difference, but maybe I could try peppermint oil.
30Thanks for the suggestion!
31late to the party but i'm never without my Physiogel facial cleanser and my Gatsby oil control sheets.. i'm also loyal to tea tree oil and my Avon Renew day/night eye cream..
32makeup-wise, it will always be Max Factor's lipsticks, L'Oreal's eyeshadows, mineral foundation (by a local mineral makeup company), Red Earth's Blush n' Glow, Bloom bronzer in Aloha (my can't-live-without matte bronzer) and oh, Stila's Lash Visor!
my essentials include:
josie maran tinted moisturizer and argan oil - it's expensive but so worth it, i don't use anything else on my face anymore, no foundation, concealer, etc. just the moisturizer mixed with a couple drops of the oil, it's awesome!
black eyeliner, doesn't matter the brand
those are probably the only two things i can't live without, but i also like freeman's face and body washes, kiss my face toner, eye cream, and acne cream, and josie maran's plumping lip gloss, it tastes so good i just eat it all off though, lol!
33Argan Oil is great! I use it with my moisturizer or sometimes in my hair.
34i know, argan oil is great for so many things, i also use it on my cuticles and a couple drops on my hair when it's still wet. josie maran has a tinted argan oil which i used this summer on my legs if i was wearing a skirt and it made my legs look so much smoother and evens out imperfections. it's the BEST product i've tried in a long time, and so versatile. plus even though it's pricey you only use a few drops at a time so it's worth it.
