I just got home from picking up the things I wanted and/or pre-ordered from the sale.

I got fewer things from the sale than I had anticipated (paying for an emergency root canal will do that to you, or at least it made me much more careful about my purchases!):

MAC Look-in-a-Box Sweet Tease - Wow, the Shell beauty powder is going to be such a gorgeous blush for me! And the eye shadows will be great neutrals, I think.
MAC Baby Blooms Lip Bag - They were sold out of the Summer Crop bag, so I got this one, but was a little concerned that the colors would be too much (I've never really worn lipsticks, just glosses), but I LOVE THESE TOO! They don't stand out too much . . . but I think I will need to pick up a neutral lip liner. I'm thinking about ordering the Summer Crop bag still, but I'm not sure, and I know I need to decide fast. The MUA said they could still get me the lip bag.
MAC Fresh Cut Eyeshadow Palette - They were sold out of the Graphic Gardens palette, which was all right with me, as I'd basically decided that the colors are just too much for me to play with right now. Perhaps when/if it makes it to the CCO I'll get it then. Fresh Cut, though, I thing will make for some beautiful and subtle looks for me, if I practice enough

Philosophy Purity-Made-Simple - GINORMOUS BOTTLE, OMG! This thing will last me at least two years . . . wow!
Philosophy Microdelivery Face Wash - see above. I can't believe what a good deal these things were . . . GEEZ!

I looked at the Lancome brushes, but decided that I didn't need them . . . the brush sizes didn't seem to be ones that I need now, and I already have that mineral foundation brush (I was probably pickier with this than I needed to be, because of that emergency dental work).

I also smelled the Thierry Mugler Angel perfume in the star shaped bottle. Well, I actually smelled the body powder first and swooned. I think it's the fragrance I've been looking for . . . unfortunately the bottled perfume doesn't match the powder! BOO!! The perfume is MUCH sweeter (apparently they removed the chocolate scent from the body powder). After talking with the fragrance woman, though, she recommended I smell the Prada perfumes. Ooooo, LOVELY! I sprayed the Iris scent on, and I'm loving how it's wearing. I also got testers from Sephora of Marc Jacobs Rain, Benefits Maybe Baby, and, er, the other Benefit scent. I'm excited to try them all, and I feel so ladylike with the Prada perfume on

Of course, the Prada perfume isn't included in the Nordstrom sale . . .
