Holy cow! Now do ya'll see why I say my stash is pathetic?
I LOVE the palette with the pinks and purples. How do you like the BE shadows?
1ooh, the mac eyeshadow in moss scape is gorgeous! but it's not on their site, was it limited edition?
2No Moss Scape is permanent, call your counter. The paint pots come and go from the website for some reason.
3Holey moley!
4That is one serious stash. So many beautiful colors! And I can see that you do love blush
. I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses artist paint brushes for my makeup.
5Oooh stashy stash stash!! You have so many blushes! And I am truly envious of your ability to have so many loose powder products and still keep things clean - my house would look like a fairy massacre if I tried, I think! Also, did you press your own pigments in that MAC quad? Because that is tres awesome, if so.
*sigh* I love stashes!
6I know those lab grade tweezers! They're SUPER expensive, and the first time I tried to do some Arabidopsis crosses I dropped them and they went tip down into the lab's tiled floor. Right in front of my boss. Yeah, those ones were no good any more, and I almost cried I was so embarrassed and scared what she would say. She was great about it, but after that I was SOOOO careful. I punctured myself on numerous occasions as well . . . I'm impressed that you'll use them so near your eyes!
Your stash is amazing
I'm so jealous of the colors you have!
7P.S. Is it bad that I find the "lone nail polish" to be quite hilarious? Because I saw that and just giggled - at your tone and at the tiny little friendless bottle of polish!
8
Quite impressive! All those blushes- wow!!
9Baila, I laughed at the nail polish thing too. You'd think somebody with a collection like that would have a million nail polishes, too.
10Mich I hate clutter, so since I don't really wear nail polish often (and nail polish does go bad) I only have the one neutral I need. I'd wear more on my toes but I'm back on Pointe and I wear boots...neither are nail polish friendly and I'm rough on my hands
. I also don't believe in paying more for something than it's worth, the art store brushes work in a lot of cases where the make up brush is really simple.
Star your stash is lovely and normal, I clearly have a problem.
hyzenthlay20...haha yeah I work in a lab, so whenever we upgrade I bring things home. My kitchen is full of lab grade glass ware, just in case I ever need to autoclave my macaroni. I also have a super awesome sweet boss. She told me, you don't work here until you've broken something expensive. Those things are great for getting those tiny short eye brow hairs, but I do prick myself often. I misplaced the plastic cover.
Baila a friend of mine actually pressed them, but I'm going to ask her to show me how. I'm not sure mine will look as awesome.
11It's really strange I've never had a problem with loose powders and I love the versatility.
12Oh and I have to pay alms to Martini cause she's played a buge role in my stash, especially my eye shadows. She's awesome sausce...for sure
.
13wow!! just wow!! I have serious envy
14Sorry that's supposed to be "huge" not "buge".
15Oooo, I am SO jealous of your lab grade kitchen equipment! How many times have I wished that I could have a Vortex (think about the mixed drinks!!!) or test tubes, or a fume hood for cutting onions!
My boss said something along those lines when I dropped the tweezers. I was really grateful to her for being so kind . . . Sometimes I miss lab.
Yay for science AND beauty product nerds!
16Dang girl, you've got so much good stuff! How's the MAC tinted lip conditioner? Can you see the tint?
17I have a bunch of erlenmeyer and volumetric flasks that have appeared at my house.
18hyzenthlay20...I only wish I could get my hands on a Vortex or a heated stir plate...think of the quick reheating possibilities. My school has a higher enrollment rate every year so they're keeping the old vortexers and stir plates for now. I'm incapable of using the using our measuring system now for cooking, cause I'm so used to using all my metric system lab equipment. Weigh scoops for makeup...it's priceless.
19Hey Wren, it's a pretty pigmented tint. Mine is called Rose Remedy, but it looks coral on...here is me modeling it.
20This one might be a better one for color.
21I ended up with a lab timer at home. I loved it, since it had Fisher Scientific printed on it. I used it my first year of teaching to keep track of how long I was allowing students to do something, but I ended up dropping it one too many times. I tried to bribe my old co-workers to procure another for me, but they were too low on them, and then she moved on to another job. We might be getting rid of some of our small volumetric flasks at my school . . . perfect bud vases!
22Seriously, a hot plate/stirrer . . . drooling . . .
23I lovesmall volumetric flasks. They really do make perfect bud vases. Especially for a science nerd like me!
24I love this stash!! Amazing!!
25I remember when I did my nailpolish stash post that I thought "why am I even doing this?", when I was done I thought, I shouldn't buy any more, and now I've already bought more...
So what did you find you still needed to add to this stash?
Completely envious of all your eye shadows! So many beautiful shades. I love grren and
purple, too.
26Thanks CCee between my birthday and Christmas I'm hoping to add.
Valana Minerals Foundation (in a couple of shades)
Valana Minerals Bronzer

27Dior Sky Glow Quint
MAC CCB in Tint...from somewhere. It's a dc'ed pro color.
A true red and orange shadow.
I'd also like the Novel Twist Brush Set (Advanced) for traveling.
Oh and the Louise Young LY02 Brush (Foundation)
28Thanks Jessie!
29PS - Jessie, you so don't need all that makeup. You're such a natural beauty!
30Star, I'd venture to say that every one of us in this group doesn't need the makeup she (or he) has . . . But it's just so much fun to play with!
31Awww thanks Star, but I'm a "natural" beauty that always shows you pictures of me in make up, so my naturalness is questionable in the least.
32jessie, i am in awe of your collection. when i post a partial one here later this week, it will really pale in comparison to yours.. not to mention the adorable case you store it all in!! love itt
33wow that is a LOT of stuff!!
34Jessie I bow down to you. I'm too ashamed to post mine now
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
35Life is short. Enjoy it while you can.
Jessie, very impressive! And you have a great selection across the spectrum of colors - I love it!
36I just came to take a peek. I don't need anything. You've got lots of stuff.
