I went out and bought Stila's Summer Eyeshadow Trio in Acapulco. For those of you who were wondering, the middle color is indeed brown. The shades go on light, but can be layered for a darker color. They're iridescent, kind of like the colors on a beetle (but in a pretty way!). They can be worn together or separately. The price was a little steep, but I think the palette should last me a very long time.

Since I'm a sucker for packaging, I also bought Maybelline's Define-a-Lash Mascara. The bright green tube was too pretty to ignore! I was surprised by how flexible the rubber applicator is, at first I thought it was broken. The flexibility actually helps it go on your lashes easier. It also only holds a little bit of mascara at a time, which helps with clumping. I'm not sure, but it sounds like there's something in the tube that scrapes the excess product off the wand. Overall, I like it, but I'm not blown away.
