I am in desperate need of a good eyeshadow primer!! It is so humid here in the south and my eye make-up melts and creases halfway through the day. Any suggestions?

Everyone is going to recommend Urban Decay.
I use it too (live in MS) and I like it.
The eyeshadow doesn't go anywhere! Many thanks to atox for telling everyone about it!
1Haha, tru dat, wynter! Urban Decay's Primer Potion is tha bomb!!
2Urban Decay Primer Potion! It's all you need.
3I concur! Urban Decay Primer Potion is awesome!
4Yep yep yep! The Urban Decay Primer Potion is a must have in every girls makeup stash! I've done an hour of cardio after work and my eyeshadow and liner will STILL be in place just as perfect as when I applied it that morning!
5I like Lemon-Aid by Benefit!
6MAC has the best primer b/c after you blend and apply all your eyeshadow it pretty much concretes itself... i've done the whole drunk crying thing yet the next morning after passing out my eyeshadow looks like i did it an hour before.
OR
CHANEL has a primer...or i use it as a primer...it's call eye blush.
7...btw the mac primer are the paint tube looking cremes.
8Thanks for the suggestions ya'll! I'm going to Sephora tomorrow and I think I'm going to get the Urban Decay. I've tried the Benefit Lemon-Aid and it only works for me during the winter here. I'll let ya'll know how it goes!
9right now im using the sonia kashuk brunette palette, the primer in there is awesome but its too easy to get heavy handed with it.
10wouldnt it be good if we could hop a flight to anywhere,so long to this life, so much fun pretending, cause bad luck's never endin
Like almost everybody else said, UD primer potion, definitely
It's
so sheer, so it doesn't get clumpy on the lids like some I've tried. I can sleep with my shadow on & it'll still be on in the morning! (not that this is a good idea
)
11I personally love Mary Kay's Eye Primer. My eye lids are very oily and this has worked the best for me. A little goes a long way.

i use MAC primer in a tube thingy. it works well, but i dun use it anymore these days.. cos my colors seem to stay on fine without putting anymore products
13I use something else as eye-primer. Cover Girls Cool Effects liquid shadow. They come in frosty or neutral colors and after you put the eyeshadow on over that stuff it lasts and lasts and it's only about $4
14mac paint is the thing in the tube and NOTHIGNH moves it. Its like friggin glue.
15I love Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Stick and have been using it for years. Your eye makeup won't budge.
16I'm half-Korean with a major case of the slanty eyes living in Florida, so I know about creasing. The Urban Decay primer works for about 10 or so hours --- enough to get me through the work day. It's not perfect for ALL eyeshadows, I still get some creasing with certain types, but, for the most part, it's a great product.
17i found the benefit f.y.eye works for me. keep the creases away and takes away the oil slicks that my eyelids become
18Urban Decay. I bought it two weeks ago due to your recommendations and I love it! I wear Stila eyeshadow, but its not great for its staying power. It makes my eyeshadow last through out the day! Love it!
19I just bought Laura Mercier's eyeshadow primer and its great. The woman helping me said it IS better than Urban Decay because I told her everyone said UD was the best and asked her what she thought. She said this was even better even though she expected me to think she was partial. But she recommended some products over LM so I trusted what she said and it stayed on really well all day.
20I too love UD Primer Potion thanks to all the recommendations from my fav Popples!
21i haven't tried any other eyeshadow primers except Urban Decay. I love it! I have used Benefit's Lemon Aid but not as an eyeshadow primer.
I love Lemon Aid on my eyes when I don't feel like wearing shadow. It makes my eyelids
refreshed looking.
22I swear by Benefit Lemon-Aid.... It not only keeps my makeup on, but gets rid of dark circles and makes me look bright awake
23I bought the Urban Decay and I looooooooooove it! Thank you all so much for your recommendations! I worked a 14 hour rotation and my shimmery eye shadow stayed in place the WHOLE time!
24After reading so many raving reviews about Urban Decay's Eye Shadow Primer, I went to Sephora and purchased it. Unfortunately, it didn't work and I'm completely disappointed. The first day it lasted through 5 hours and the second day by noon I had oil built-up and creasing. I am extremely disappointed. I guess it just works for those with moderately oily skin. I have extremely oily skin AND deep-set eyes. I am going to try the other brands mentioned throughout this blog.
25Try Too Faced Shadow Insurance
26I'm asian and I found Urban Decay is the best. It smooths out crease, it is sheer, and eyeshadow grabs on. I tried MAC paint in a tube but it was to heavy and it changed the color of certain eyeshadows. I haven't tried Benefits Lemon-Aid or Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I might give those a try.
