There's been a lot of talk on the site lately about the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencils....
So I thought I'd do some swatches for you guys who haven't seen them yet.
There are two sets that Urban Decay brought out, the fan favourite of the Holiday season of 2007 and a new set for 2008. You can find the sets at Urban Decay's website.
The 2008 set is called Velvet Rope and these colours I use most.
From left to right the colours are: Yeyo (metallic white), 1999 (plum w/ teeny gold glitter), Zero (zealous black), Bourbon (brown w/ teeny gold glitter), Stash (dark green/gold)
The 2007 set is called VIP and these colours pop more.
From left to right the colours are: Zero (zealous black)(already photographed on the first line), Lucky (brilliant deep copper), Covet (peacock green), Electric (bright aquamarine), Lust (plush purple)
I didn't photograph Zero twice, I did however add two other eyeliners I also own which I LOVE!! The colour on the second row most to the right is called Honey (24K gold) and the colour on the third row is Gunmetal (gunmetal w/ teeny silver glitter).
Lamplight:
Sunlight
Ikea
some of them are really different with another light!
1I know, that's why I wanted to show you both sets. Strange how sunlight can kill a certain colour and add life to another.
2wow i did not think certain light made such a difference!! the colors are great!
3I didn't realize that either....
4It's amazing how much the light changes the shimmer of the eyeshadow.
5wow a few of them are literally completely diff with sunlight!
6i agree - only the blue ones sustained...
7Great post CCee. Thank you for sharing this with us.
8Great post Cee.
9Thank ladies
10Oh, I am loving the shades Gunmetal & Lust. I have to buy those sometime. Great post!
11I second leeluv. How do they feel going on?
12Really smooth, and if you blend them straight away they smudge really nicely too (if you want a slight smokey effect). Also they stay on really well on my eye, they don't fade or smudge in wearing. I tried the place on your hand, wait fot it to set and then try and fade it with a towel trick before I bought the set to test how well they actually wear and I couldn't smudge them with a towel. They really are my go to eyeliner pencils.
13I agree with the other posts about how the lighting can change how a color looks.
14I like the Honey color.
