Hello, fellow BPJs!
Some of you may have seen my earlier post asking for advice about this new vitamin C serum that was being offered by Mario Badescu (http://teamsugar.com/group/88093/blog/2565570).
I ended up ordering it, and have been using it for a little over a week. I must say that I love the way my skin feels after using it - very soft and smooth! And a little goes a long way with this product - they recommend 4 drops, I use 3 instead!
I do have to say, though, that the REAL 5 star winner in this shipment from MB was a free sample I chose of their Hyaluronic Emulsion with Vitamin C.
The MB rep told me I could mix a bit in with my moisturizer, but not to use it on the nights I use the Vitamin C serum. I have been mixing a dab into my moisturizer during the day and WOW! My skin has never felt softer! I was having a horrible time with dry, flaky skin on my face this winter, and once I started using this, the problem has totally cleared up! My skin is soft and smooth all day long! I am ordering the full-size product, I am so happy with it!

That emulsion stuff sounds like I should buy it!! My forehead gets flaky in the winter.
1Sounds like a great product for dry skin. As far as the Vit C serum goes, it will take some time before noticing improvements in the firmness of your skin. I'm glad everything worked out for you!

4Dana, my skin is definitely more on the dry side, especially during the colder winter months!!
5the emulsion sounds like it did the trick for you. Hyaluronic acid is fabulous and the Vit C added cn't hurt. Like areidz said, be patient with the serum. It will take some time to notice a change in tone and brightness from the Vit C. I have been impressed with MB products lately and happy they don't cost that much.

Ivee, they might be able to ship it to you - email customer service on the MB web site. They really are very helpful and the salon in NYC is frequented by lots of celebrities, I bet they get international shipping requests a lot!

10Do you think this would be good on combination acne-prone skin that is on the dry side?
11leeluv - on the web site it says that it is good for all skin types. I would recommend calling Mario Badescu salon (800-BADESCU) or doing an online skin consultation (https://www.mariobadescu.com/questionnaire.aspx) just to be sure!
