Blue I hate the way liner looks on top of my lid. It makes my eyes seem smaller. I pretty much am water line only, especially now that I know how to do my upper lid waterline.
hmmm... i had no idea about this... applying on the waterline thing. Anyway, i use clinique, and it's very waxy. hard to remove even with eye makeup remover!
Can any policy, however high minded, be moral if it leads to widespread corruption, imprisons so many, has so racist an effect, destroys our inner cities, wreaks havoc on misguided &
vulnerable individuals and brings death and destruction to foreign countries?
I find that YSL's long wearing pencil works really, really well. Also, Almay's 16-hour eyeliner (only comes in three shades). Smashbox's Jet Set Waterproof has been a disappointment. Good
luck!
I find that waterproofs don't really work that well for the water line. Counterintuitively... The softer the pencil, the easier it goes on in that area. And, as ghett-tto as this is, I find
that running a lighter flame very quickly over the pencil tip first really gives it extra staying power.
before getting any new product i test it out at a department store (yes department store makeup does make a difference)
I line my waterline as well and I've ONLY had luck with estee lauders artists eye pencil i definitely recommend it for you!
You should try to see what works for you. In the past I always put the Bourjois eyeliner pencils on my waterline but that would disappear very quickly. The waterproof 24/7 Urban Decays stay
longer but still disappear. The Make Up For Ever does stay longer but I don't get the colour payoff as much so now I only use the Smashbox Jet Set. This is made especially for the waterline
and on me it doesn't disappear, I have to use makeup remover to remove it. But do watch out if you wear contacts because if you wear them while putting on the Jet Set you have a chance of
staining your lens and thats very hard to remove whilst being careful. So I'd advise putting on the JetSet before putting in your lenzes if you do choose to try it.
the two that work the most for me are the HIP Cream liners, (use a pencil as the applicator; the brush could scratch your eye and that's a no-no!) and Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes.
Hope you find what you're looking for!
Jessie: A lot of people have Very different ideas of what could work for you, because each of us has had different experiences. You may have to try a few before you find the one that works
for you. I wish you the best of luck. Oh, and I also like Laura Mercier's "cake" eye liner that's specifically made for that sensitive area.
I've had good results with a couple of different products, but it's definitely a matter of trying different things until you find one that works for you.
I like Bobbi Brown gel liner, MAC Fluidlines, Stila gel liner, MAC Liquidlast (but it's kind of messy to apply), and MAC Kohl Power pencil.
Lately what's been awesome for me is dipping my Feline Kohl Power pencil into Blitz&Glitz Fulidline and then lining - it lasts forever and is doubly concentrated!
Try this. Japanese K-Pallett 24hrs tattoo eye liner. (we have a local Japanese supermarket, this item was out of stock all the time!) I have oily eyes and they worked for me. (not 24hrs but
maybe 8hrs) The down side is... they are hard to wash off!
Thanks you guys, I went to MAC to buy the Eye Brush Set and Neutral Lip Set and picked up the Technakohl Liner. So far so good. I like the fact that it go on smooth, but dries quick. It
doesn't last all day I think (it doesn't need to), but it disappears instead of smudges, so I'm happy about that.
UD 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil!

Putting eyeliner on my waterline gives me the willies!
I'd love to get over that

4Oh Martini my love of Prince appreciates the 1999 reference UD uses for one of it's liner colors.

18The idea of putting eyeliner on my waterline kind of freaks me out! But that's great if you can handle it.
That said, I am waiting for a Sephora gift card coming way way to pick up a UD 24/7 eyeliner and lipliner. The eyeliner lasts all day and is fabulous.
