I want to know what I can do to make my lips appear thinner because they're just a little much fuller. I think my friends are crazy because they wish to have fuller lips and are always buying lip plumper and here I am wishing for thinner lips. They think I'm crazy but I think they are. So any advice ladies. Everytime I look in the mirror, my lips the first thing I see.. Hellooo! they're just big =/ lol but any advice without any surgery just so they'd appear a little thinner. Thanks

1The best thing is get a lipbase that takes out your natural lipcolour and draw in your lips a little thinner then they are (just a little or it will look odd) with a lipcoloured lippencil. Then use a matte or satin shine lipstick in a natural lipcolour or go brave and do it very dark but matte.
2I was never fond of lip pencils. lip lining have always been a challenge for me. I just can never do it right. So Ccee i think that's going to be hard to do but nevertheless will try my hardest.
3Darker colors, nothing shiny or shimmery, and stay just inside the lines of your lips. So mostly what CCee said.
4Embrace what you have
Definitely steer clear of anything shiny. Also, like others have said, find a good nude lipstick. Dark lipstick definitely makes your lips look smaller, but it also draws attention to them, so that's also something to consider.
5LOL, I am with brittany here - embrace it! I have the exact opposite problem (thin lips) and am forever trying to make them look more full!
6I'm with martinilush, I covet fuller lips too. I say embrace your fab full lips. Look at pics of Angelina and see how the make-up artists deal with her full lips. She usually goes nude. I'd definitely try and follow CCee's advice.
7I was exactly the same during my teenage years. Spent it hating my lips and thinking I look like a fish..but seriously I love them now. Just embrace what you have and love youreself! In general I find anything shinny to be horrible if you want to make your lips look smaller...don't go too dark if you have pale skin either...they will draw attention to it.

8Trade with me.
Failing that, I think a nude lipstick without too much shine is probably the way to go.
CYL, I like your Ghandi quote.
9Ok since majority of you says Nude lipstick and by the way I appreciate everybody that responded to me, you guys are great! So now since i've never really use lipstick unless I really go out to like a big party or clubs or anything needs celebrating. =P well any ideas/suggestion on a good everyday lipstick.
10L'Oreal has great lipsticks especially for blonds, brunettes etc. Those are great natural colours.
) is the most beautiful colour for you, choose that colour from the L'Oreal
Paris Lipstick Color Riche Made For Me Naturals line for your day to day lipstick (don't look at whether the colour is for blonds or brunettes, the colour I use is for blonds and I'm a
brunette).
11If you want a colour that works best on you, push a finger on your lip and then release, the dark colour it turns for a short while (the colour your lips turn after you've been kissing a while
If you want to mattify it, you can take a tissue (one without added aloe vera etc.) and take one of the 2 or 3 sheets that make up one tissue. Now place that on your lips (after you put on the lipstick) and go over this with a little powder. Through the small holes in the tissue sheet a little of the powder will set the lipstick without moving it or getting too much powder on your lips.
I'm browsing through Sephora.com right now well I found BE's Quick Stick-Escentual Fig (pink-beige nude) and/or Bare Minerals 100% lip Color Lipstick in Truffle
(warm nude beige) or Bread Pudding
(tawny nude)-
Those are the ones I'll probably try and see when I go to Sephora this week.
12Great tip Ccee! you are the best!!!
