For years I have used Mac Studio Fix as my powder/foundation. I had a facial Friday and the esthetician said almost every one of my pores were congested. She asked what makeup I had been using, and when I told her Studio Fix she gasped and asked me to consider something lighter and non-clogging. This really surprised me. I knew my skin had not been great lately, but EWE! I told her I don't like liquid, and I didn't like BE (sorry BE lovers- it feels too heavy/thick on my face). She recommended a few brands, and after my facial I went straight out and bought Chanel Double Perfection Compact in Vanilla. It is oil free and SPF 10. Here are a couple of descriptions of it:

Double Perfection Compact
MATTE REFLECTING POWDER MAKEUP SPF 10
Soft, smooth texture ensures easy application for a naturally radiant, matte complexion. Light-reflecting pigments minimize the appearance of lines. Use dry for sheer coverage, or with lightly moistened sponge for a long-lasting, velvety matte finish

Feature and Benefits:
Silica microspheres, micronized talc and nylon powder give a natural, light makeup result. A complex of sugars and amino acids contributes to the non-drying effect, leaving skin soft and supple. Protects with SPF 10.

So far I am really liking it! It looks very soft and porcelain-like. It is different from Studio Fix in that the Chanel is much lighter feeling on and the coverage is a little less... although it is not too light and its coverage is just enough. Even w/ my current bad skin, my face looks smooth and even. It does look a bit powdery when first applied (I apply w/ a foundation brush and then go back and buff it out w/ my kabuki brush), but then settles w/in minutes.

I am very happy with my purchase. Laughing out loud
