Went to Sephora today and finally remembered to hit up their tester tube of O-Glow. According to Sephora's website, this product is "the first intuitive blush, this clear gel reacts with your personal skin chemistry to turn cheeks the exact color you blush, naturally in just seconds! O-GLOW works on every skin tone, from the lightest to the darkest, to give everyone a naturally gorgeous glow."
Uhh, sorry, Smashbox, but, last I checked, my cheeks did not turn fluorescent after blushing.
I suppose that the "technology" behind this product is pretty innovative, but I wish it didn't turn so bright pink! It was way harsh and, despite the silky finish (very close to their Photo Finish Foundation Primer, which I LOVE), it didn't blend very well and I ended up looking like a time-traveling hooker from the 80s.
I gave it one star because I bet that there's someone out there trapped in the 80s who's going to LOVE the way this looks.

LOL at "time travelling hooker". I was sceptical about this, thanks for the honest review. As pink as I am, the last thing I need is to highlight it with a fluorescent cheeks!
1great review. love time traveling hooker comment. ah, the visual image.
2I'm sure the one person is named Margie and works at a truck stop. I can just see her. Rocking a blonde beehive and some hot pink cheeks. Ah, thanks for the visual.

Thanks for the review. I was skeptical as well because I am also pink enough in the cheeks,
def don't need that uber highlighted for 80's time travel
4i got this stuff and while i felt the same way the first time i used it, i just used A LOT less the next time and liked how it looked. I'm okay with it but not impressed.
5Gotta back up mm with this- using the right amount is the key. I use just a little bead on each cheek and only put it on the apples.
Also, not for wearing with red or pink, or bright lipstick. More for a natural-look kind of thing.
"Save the makeup, save the world..."
6Thanks for the reviews, all!!
Livience - is Jelina your name? Pretty!
I've heard from a lot of people that you really have to use waaaaaay less than you'd think you should. But, I'm still wary about trying to properly apply a blush that goes on clear!! Even if it doesn't turn "time traveling hooker" pink.
7Thank you for being the guinea pigs ladies.
I've been seeing this and wondering how
it works. Does anybody know how their Photo Finish Primer works? I would love to hear some more about that.
8I LOVE their PhotoFinish Primer. Works like a dream. Goes on super smooth, makes you use less foundation for the same coverage, fills in lines, makes your foundation stay put like no other.
9Thank you Jen! Can you wear it even if you're only going to wear concealer over it? I guess what I'm asking is can you use the primer and not use foundation?
10I use it just under my undereye concealer during the summer, since I use BE during the summer. You can definitely just wear it without foundation. If I'm just going to wear primer, I prefer Mac's Prep & Prime because it has some sparkle to it. But, the Smashbox will definitely improve the appearance of your skin by itself.
If you're going to purchase some, I highly recommend going with the travel size tube on Sephora instead of the pump. $15 vs like $36 for one thing, but also a lot of people complain that the pump dispenses too much and then quits dispensing long before you've gotten every last drop out of the bottle. I've only ever used the tube and its perfect.
11I should add that last summer - before I had discovered BE - I wore just primer with no foundation (or concealer) all summer.
12Yea! Someone finally tried this! Thanks for the review!!!
13I love PFFP. I just love how silky it feels on my skin!!! not sure what makes it so silky, but it's just such a treat for my face.
And, jen: it's clear in the tube, but turns pink as soon as it hits your skin. It's not just turning your skin pink. How they do it, I don't know, but, until they tone down the hue, I won't be buying a tube.
Oh, and "Jelinas" is my nickname. My real name is Jeena Livience Lim.
14Very pretty, Jelinas!
15who is jelina?
