Here is it, my first "tutorial" like look with more pictures. I do have a terrible cold so don't look at the tired eyes but look at the make-up on the eyes Sticking out tongue. This does take a lot more time so this won't be my usual post. Maybe one every weekend like this if people like it.
I got 4 looks out of this one session, I built up colour over colour to bring you from a neutral to a dark in steps.

Preparation
Here is my eye without anything on. I just washed and scrubbed my face this morning and this is what looked back at me from my bathroom mirror.

I used Clinique's 7 day scrub, Dramatically Different Moisurising Gel and Stri-Vectin-SD Eyecream:

After letting that soak in for about 10 minutes my eye looked like this (pretty much the same, but still...)

Base
The products I will use next are:
- Mexx Blush brush
- Benefit High Brow
- No7 Perfect Light Loose Powder (sold at Boots) in #10 Fair (mine is pretty old)
- Urban Decay eyeshadow Primer potion
- Dermalogica Sheer tint moisture in medium
- Sephora Brand "Tricks of the Trade" Immediate Wrinkle Filler
- YSL Touche Eclat in 02
- YSL Teint Parfait Complexion Enhancer (Oil Free) in No. 4 Abricot

I started with my new Sephora Immediate Wrinkle Filler under my eyes, it's really very soft and I love the way this feels. I didn't sleep well which is why I put more prep products on my face then usually, so here is the list of what I did next :S . I used my fingers when applying these products, if it's good enough for Patt McGrath it's good enough for me. And the little massage you give your face when you use your hands/fingers when putting on moisturiser and foundation is always a good thing when having a cold *hatsjoe* . I gave my skin an extra dose of moisture and colour with dermalogica's tinted moisturiser and the YSL Complexion Enhancer. I then put the High Brown under my eyebrows and blended it with my fingers. Next up was the Primer potion.

I then took my Sephora Brand Concealer Palette
and mixed the pinkish colour with the two skin tones to create a "salmon type colour".

I put this on under my eyes and a little up into the corner, this is what it looks like.

Because I slept really badly and am sneezing etc etc. I have bags under my eyes. Here is how I fixed it with YSL Touche Eclat. I placed some of the Touche Eclat on the darkness, because it's a highlighter the shadow will be lighter and disappear. If you like more coverage then with normal placement and blending, try leaving it for 2 minutes before blending.

Last up, I put a little dusting of loose powder under my eyes using a Mexx blush brush because I'm using loose pigments on my eyelids later on. This added step catches the fallout. I will dust it off when I'm done with the eyeshadows.

Look 1 contoured eye
Because I wanted a more metallic grey look I put some cream eyeshadow under my final colours. The palette I used isn't sold anymore, it was last year's summer palette from Sephora called Paradise Island (I bought two so I still have some left), there are many colours just like it sold by most brands, just look for a light shimmery silver and a mushroom tint. The colours I used have stars around them (no name is given to the colours on the underside of the palette so I have no idea what their names are).

I added the silvery colour to my inner half of my eye (and making sure I went a little on my lower eyelid in the corner as well to give it a little sparkle. The mushroom colour was added to the outer half of my eye. On the next picture I already have the silver on and I have a liner brush pointing out the angle of the placement of the start of the mushroom colour.

With the mushroom colour and a drawing showing the placement of the colours.

Next up are the colours I'll be using:
- Urban Decay Sin (champagne Item # 36310) Left top colour on the Palette (I put a star around this colour)
- Barry M Dazzle Dust dd51 (Mushroom)
- Clinique Touch Tint for Eyes Shimmer Formula Gold Glimmer
- GOSH effect powder Steel
- Bourjois Cafe & Creme Eyeliner pencil
- Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara
- Bourjois Ombre Strech Intense Black 01 (which I think is pretty grey)
- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil (Gunmetal: gunmetal w/ teeny silver glitter Item # 44510)
- Givenchy Prismissime Mat & Glow in 27 sunny (on face to give a nice sheen, not seen on pictures)
- Miss Helen (Bought this in Holland) Soft wet & Dry eyeshadow in blue and grey

First I used the Clinique gold glimmer over my brow bone and down to the crease. I then took Sin with my crease brush (picture will be added later of all my used brushes) and gave my crease a sinful colour. I then gave my outer crease a small extra dusting of Dazzle Dust in Mushroom with my smudge brush

If you want a low key look that's pretty, just add some mascara at this point and you're ready. The look you have now is what I would call a contoured eye
And with a photoshopped blue eye (I'm not happy with the placement of the colour but it's the idea of the look that counts) for MartiniLush.

Look 2 neutralish eye
I took the lightest grey colour of the Miss Helen palette (it doesn't have the colour names on the bottom of the palette either, but you saw the picture of the palette, so all will be well), it's a grey colour that hasn't really got a shimmer to it, but because of the colour we have under it, it does look metallic on the eye. I gave the inner half of my eyelid (up to the crease) a dusting of this colour.
I added the Steel GOSH colour over the middle third of the eye. This colour has a bit of shimmer to it and is a little darker. The exact placement is seen on the next picture.

I then added the darkest colour of the palette, which is a medium tint grey on the outer third of my eye. I took a picture of it before blending with a closed eye (to show you the placement of the colour) and after blending with an open eye (to show you the blended colour).

Next up was a very very thin eye line. I did this with a brush I bought at a Douglas in Germany, it has very long bristles which is perfect for a thin line. I took the Bourjois black colour and with a wet brush I used the tip of the brush to draw a line. If I'm drawing a thin line I just close my eye and let the brush "lie" on my eyelashes and then pull to make line with small strokes.
I used the creme colour of the Bourjois pencil to line my waterlines.

If you want a still neutral(ish) look just add some mascara now and your eyes are done.

Look 3 medium eye
I used some bronzer on my face. I love this new Givenchy one because it has some nude colours as well, so if you need to bring bronzer and want some neutral eye colours as well, bring this one.

I only added some grey eyeliner under my eye (in my lashline) in Gunmetal for this look, but it changes the entire eye.

(and one with a blue eye colour for MartiniLush)

Look 4 dark eye

I didn't change any of the colours on my upper eyelid but on my waterlines I added black (Zero by Urban Decay)

The brushes I used for the eye colours are (from left to right):
- DaVinci (soft-synthetics 4574) eye (German Douglas)
- Sephora Brand Professionnel All Over Shadow Small Brush #23
- Body Shop Slanted Brush (10641)
- Sephora Brand Professionnel Smudge Brush #19 (now #14)
- Sephora Brand Professionnel Crease Brush #18 (now 13)
(pictured as well is the Urban Decay Glide-On Eye Pencil (Zero: zealous black) )

I hope you guys like this look and post.
