Very easy (and cheap) to do! I bought this glass jar from Joann fabric, I think it was a couple bucks, and the white flower arrangement filler (in the isle with the fake flower arranging stuff). I believe it was around $5 but of course I always use a coupon. The filler keeps my brushes standing up nice and straight. Thanks to Enkore for the idea!

very cute!
Nice.
Cool! Are those teeny tiny little beads or is it the styrofoam?
i did something similar with a square short vase and some white BB pellets. I got both for under 6 or 7 dollars, and the BBs are heavy enough that the brushes stand up straight. now i can always find the brush i need right away, and they look nice just sitting out on the counter.
oh yea!!!
I saw this on EnKore...with that guy that teaches you awesome make-up looks!
Jenna,
They are like little acrylic beads from any craft store. They are pretty tiny.
arrgh. I was trying to find a picture for you, but am having no luck
I think I know what you are talking about. When I went to the salon on Saturday, they had a cup full of those tiny beads and pens in it. What a sweet idea to use them to hold brushes!
That's probably it, Jenna. I saw one girl on youtube, she actually used dry macaroni in hers. It kept the brushes up nicely, but her jar wasn't glass, it was a cute canister, so you didn't see the macaroni.
What a cute idea!!!! Thanks for sharing...
Oh, this would make a vanity look so pretty. Very cute and functional- thanks for the great idea
Awesome!
I never thought of that! Great job!
Thanks for the terrific idea!
I just did this this weekend too!!!! YAY ENKORE! YAY SEPHORA!
how cool - i will have to do something like this! thanks for the great idea!
Good idea !!!!!
Very cool. I saw that at Sephora too. I love that place.
Very nice! But I prefer to keep my brushes covered in a bag.
That's a great idea! I have so many brushes now that I keep them in a roll-up holder, but that would be great to have on my vanity for my every single day brushes! Thanks for sharing!
I have lots of brushes and stand them up in a can I was given at the Stila counter. This is a much better idea! Thanks!
