Well, this is pretty silly but I was watching some home shopping channel
which is my secret late night obsession. lol. And I love it when they do products that I actually have heard of. The show was selling Too Faced make-up products which I've tried every once in a while. (love their glitter eye liner in gold and black). They were advertising a translucent pressed powder that has vitamins C, A, and E and was supposed also had environmental protection. Their claim was also that no matter what skin color the darkest African American skin to the fairest color of skin, that it would be invisible on all types.
So of course I was skeptical because I have tan/brown skin and when I use powders
I usually end up looking ashy or my face has a weird whitish glow, especially in photographs. I wanted to try it though. I dont have oily skin, but its been so hot out, by the end of the day I feel like my foundation is melting- and I was hoping it wasnt the Smashbox Foundation primer I have been using, b/c I'm pretty much addicted to it. So I went to a beauty supply store that I knew would accept returns if I ended up not liking it. Well.....it DOES exactly what it says.
At least the invisible part. I really like it, it leaves my face with a nice matte look but doesnt look ashy or dry. Not sure how much I will need to reapply, b/c I just got it, but hopefully it will do the job!
I'm pretty happy with my purchase so far. Yay!

Sounds great, thanks for sharing! I'm currently using Mac's Mineralized pressed powder & I really like it. Maybe i'll try this one when i'm out of the MAC.
1I would be skeptical about the color thing too - I'm very pale and
2oily so things have a tendency to look orange. Good to know about this though, I'll have to check it out next time I'm out and about!
Sounds like qyite a find. I can't find matching foundation so I'll xheck this out !!!!
3Cool, will have to check it out. Thanks!
4Just to let everyone know....they have this product in a "deep" shade now that's new at Sephora. I caught it yesterday cuz I was looking at the light, and thinking the same thing as Hell00Kitty. I also have that skin tone, so I bought the deep shade and am gonna try it tomorrow. I will let ya'll know the results!! BTW it's called Absolutely Invisible Deep. Thanks!
5Thanks for the head's up. Cant wait to hear your review!
6Hey Hell00.....you might want to try the deep shade. I LOVE IT! The formula is very very sheer, and I think maybe the little hint of tint helps on darker or tanned skin. They have it at Sephora and if you feel like you don't love the reg. shade, trade it in for the deep. Have a good day!
