I recently bought some Benefit Products from Sephora. I know Benefit is one of the most talked about Beauty Lines out there. So I just had to try some things. My first review blog will be for the Realness of Concealness Kit.
REALNESS OF CONCEALNESS
Crafty little kit is a mini collection of Benefits' most coveted concealers and enhancers. Set includes: Boi-ing, Lemon-Aid, Ooh la Lift, Lip Plump, and High Beam in minis.
OOH LA LIFT
Description: It's an instant eyelift. De-puff and firm the eye area with tightening botanicals and light-reflecting pigments. You can use it throughout the day over your makeup. Who doesn't need this?
I have used this a couple of times so far. The mini is tiny and comes with a sponge applicator like comes with gloss. You put a few dots under your eyes and blend. I really couldn't tell a difference but I don't have really bad under eye puffiness. So I will use it again on a day when I have some more noticeable eye puffiness.
LIP PLUMP
Description: Get a full sexy pout with this flesh-colored lip primer. It fills in lines and builds up the contour of the lips, giving them a fuller, smoother look. That's how your kisser will look and feel, smooth and luscious.
Ok the name is very misleading because this isn't supposed to be a lip plumper at all. But more of a lip primer. It also is not flesh-colored unless your skin is a dark cocoa color. When I put it on my lips it reminded me of putting regular foundation on my lips. My lips immediately started to flake. I should have put my Lip moisturizer on first but for some reason I didn't feel I should have to. I was wrong. This really did not impress me at all.
HIGH BEAM
Description: For an angelic sheen, this pink shimmering lotion adds a soft, natural afterglow to the complexion. Wear alone or mix with foundation for an overall dewy finish. It's perfectly alluring on all skin tones.
So many of you know that this product is one of the highest rated reviewed products in this BPJ group. It really is gorgeous. I had been using a similar luminizing product from Stila and really didn't see what all the hubbub was about these products. But High Beam is the Be All-End All of Luminizers. It provides just enough sheen to make the other person wonder why you are glowing? 
BOI-ING
Description: An industrial strength under eye concealer that eliminates darkness and imperfections without creasing or looking heavy.
I was really excited to try this most talked about concealer. I, however, was very disappointed that the Realness of Concealness kit only had the dark shade concealer in it. It doesn't even give you the option to change the shade. My complexion is fair so I really needed to have the light concealer instead. So I really can't review this concealer because it isn't the right shade for me. Again, really disappointed they would send that shade in the kit. 
LEMON-AID
Description: This soft, yellow cream instantly hides discoloration on eyelids, making them look fresh and young ... with or without makeup.
I seriously believe I saved the best for last on this one. This stuff is AMAZING!! The instant I swiped my finger across my eyelid with this stuff I COULD TELL A DIFFERENCE! I did use my Urban Decay Primer Potion first, but after that I put some Lemon-Aid on my lids and I swear my lids looks like perfection. I had no need at all for any shadow. My lids no longer showed ANY IMPERFECTIONS. I am still amazed at this stuff. 
I highly recommend Lemon-Aid. I will get pics and update this blog as soon as I get the chance.
So here are the stars:
OOH LA LIFT - I can only give a mid review because I need to use it on a better eye puffiness day.
LIP PLUMP - Not impressed at all - one star because it could have been because I didn't moisturize my lips first. I will update my stars when I try again with moisturizer.
HIGH BEAM - Thumbs Way Up
BOI-ING - Boooooo!
I cannot give a review because the shade concealer DID NOT match my complexion
LEMON-AID - If I could give more than Five Stars I seriously would!
REALNESS OF CONCEALNESS KIT
3 stars because of the concealer shade and lip plump fiasco. But the High Beam and Lemon Aid really up the rating.

Nice review Aud! I also wish that the concealer had been your shade because I really want to know how well it works! Oh well, maybe I should just order it myself...

7i haven't decided. i guess i could return the kit since i tried everything out and then order the full sizes of the lemon aid, high beam and boi-ing (in my shade).

10I've used a lip primer before that really does work. I did it in this order:
1. Moisturizer
2. Primer
3. Lip pencil
4. Lipstick
5. Gloss
And it made my poor li'l lips look HUGE and Angelina Jolie bee-stung! Loved it!
Too dramatic for everyday use, though. I only use it for special occasions.

this product wouldnt be useful for me tho cos i dont do anything to my lids, mascara and eyeliner works great for me. plus my lips are already full so if i use any more "plumping" products i'd look like i had sausage for lips!

13great review. the only one i've tried is oh-la-lift. i use it everyday OVER all my makeup. the key i found is not to blend it entirely in. stop blending/patting with some left and let dry. then you see the brightening and reflectiveness. it took awhile and by mistake and laziness i figured that out...
i was always curious about lemon-aid as i feel my eyelids are sooooo red. thanks. i will definitely try it!! =)

15I love this kit except for the boi-ing. Even though the colour matches my skin, the concealer did not work any wonders - it was really icky and not at all natural looking. I do love high beam though.
