You all by now should know how I love my Bare Minerals Mineral Foundation. I have always wanted to try the BE blush but never have. Then I saw a T.V commercial for a mineral blush by Covergirl. Im not a big Covergirl fan but I do like some of their blushes so I picked up the Covergirl TruBlend Naturally Luminous Blush.

Blush in a hue that's true to you! This sheer loose powder blush contains natural minerals that instantly give a brightened appearance, for a natural-looking kiss of color
The only thing bigger than the name of this product is the jar. It is HUGE!!!! Seriously it makes up for the semi- expensive price plus the fact that it is a loose powder means it will last forver.
Ok so the jar is built like the BE jars with a sifter to control the amount of powder to come out- has a sticker over the holes which you are suppose to remove. It also comes with a powder puff for application.
The application directions are:
Place puff in container and close package. Invert package and shake gently. Tap excess powder from puff and apply
To me this seems messy and annoying. What I do is peel the sticker half way back and tap some powder into the lid then put the sticker back over the holes to keep the powder from coming out. I then swirl my blush brush in the powder and apply
The blush comes in two colors: Pure Romance a pink shade (pictured above) and Shimmering Sands a peachy pink shade with a very fine gold shimmer
I bought the Shimmering Sands because Pure Romance was too pink for me and the Sands color seemed warmer. The color goes on very sheer. It does give my face a nice glow and goes well with my BE foundation. Im sure you can build the color up more by layering or even layer it over another blush color to give a nice highlight
I have only used this once but so far I like it. Ill do an update by the end of the week so I have a really good opinion of it

UPDATE
Ok so I applied it again today in the sun light. It is really sheer and gives a natural hint of color. The shimmer isnt overpowering either- it does give a nice glow. This is perfect to wear alone or to boost another blush color
UPDATE #2
This packaging SUCKS!!!!! I took the sticker off over the holes and had podwer ALL OVER the container. I ended up cutting an index card down to fit over all the holes but two and taped it in. Avoid taking the sticker off for as long as possible

5BTW Im still not sure about the shimmer part. Its not bad but Ill see tomorrow in the afternoon sun
6This sounds interesting!
7Interesting! I've been wearing NARS Orgasm over my BE Golden gate, I hadn't even heard about this yet.
Sounds pretty!
8Good review. I've got lots of blushes because my skin's so pale; I use pinker tones to give my face some life to it, otherwise with my exceedingly sleepy eyes I look half-stoned if my skin is pale, as well.
9Clicky, you need to review your Orgasm for me, girl! I'm curious...
That sounds bad.
10pls omit the sound effects hahhaaaaa

13I picked this up today, because it was on sale at Target. I like it so far, and I don't even mind the packaging.
14what color did you get??
Did you keep the sticker on? I dont like the powder puff so I just use my brush
15I got the Shimmering Sands. The other one was too pink for me.
I'm going to try layering it over my Stila blush tomorrow. I bet it'll look purty!
